Other things to note Minimum Stay & Pricing: This home is available for stays of 30 days or more and is priced for monthly rentals. For extended stays of 3–6+ months, please contact us to discuss long-term pricing options. Parking: You’ll have full access to the driveway during your stay. It is a single-lane driveway, so if you bring more than one car, you may need to back out the last car on the street to access the first. Street parking is not available directly in front of the house, but side streets nearby are open for parking. Landscaping: Lawn mowing and landscaping services are scheduled every other week or as needed. Please avoid parking on the grass and do not leave dog leads or other items on the lawn to help keep the yard in top condition. Welcome Supplies: For long-term guests, the house is stocked with coffee (K-cups), tea, cleaning supplies, toilet paper, paper towels, and other essentials for at least your first week. Additional supplies during your stay will be the guest’s responsibility. Trash & Recycling: Trash day in Madison is Thursday morning (typically 7–8 a.m.), except during holiday weeks. Guests staying longer than a week are responsible for taking out trash and recycling weekly. Fireplace & Fire Pit: The indoor fireplace is non-functional, but an outdoor fire pit is available when weather permits. Firewood may be provided depending on usage. Small Gatherings: Parties or gatherings of 15 or fewer people are welcome, but please remember the house sleeps a maximum of 6–8 guests. Be considerate of neighbors. Smoking & Vaping: Smoking or vaping is not allowed inside the house but is permitted outdoors. Please dispose of cigarette butts and trash responsibly in the outdoor receptacle. Stove Details: The stove is a vintage 1960s Frigidaire Flair Custom Imperial Electric Range Oven. Don’t worry—it’s charming and fully usable: Using the Cooktop: • Pull out the cooktop by grasping the handle on either side, push down the black “release” button, and slide the cooktop out. • Turn the corresponding burner knob to the desired heat setting. • Slide out the vent fan on top of the cook range. Using the Oven: • Set the oven temperature using the dial. • Select the cooking mode (bake, broil, etc.) using the function selector. • Preheat if necessary and monitor your food through the oven window. An oven thermometer is provided for accuracy.
