It is cantilevered on all sides, giving you the feeling of floating in the trees. The first thing you notice are the floor-to-ceiling windows that surround it, drawing your eyes outside. At nearly 400 square feet inside, it has an open concept design with a fully-equipped kitchenette, bedroom and bathroom with dual shower heads and heated floors. The modern interior has all the comforts of a high-end hotel suite, from beautiful furniture to luxurious linens. You step outside onto two adjoining Brazilian hardwood decks that boast sunset vistas and views of the surrounding forest. Guest access You have full access to your own Landscape Hideaway which includes your own private deck with outdoor shower, private wood burning hot tub, and private fire pit. We also sit on 60 acres of land with hiking trails that are shared only with one other landscape hideaway (which is approximately 200 feet away, at a different elevation, and separated by trees and privacy screens). Hiking trails lead to and surround a beautiful year-round creek to enjoy. Hiking trail access for "At Last" is marked with a trailhead sign directly across from the gated entrance. Other things to note We clean and sanitize after each guest. We also drain and refill our wood burning hot tubs with fresh water for each new guest. They are made from aluminum and cedar and require no chemicals. The outdoors showers stay on through the winter unless the temperature outside falls below 29 degrees (which is rare). Note, there are blinds on the front door windows and one west facing window — but not on the remaining windows to preserve the aesthetics of the space. Please know that both of our landscape hideaway decks face West and are at different elevations for maximum privacy for both structures - with no other homes in the vicinity. Unfortunately, we don't allow pets but, if you have a pup you need to board, we would highly recommend Happy Dog Retreat in Dawsonville. Miss Laura gives 10% off for all LoveAdventures guests! Artwork on the walls is available for sale and shot by an Atlanta artist, @caleblebourgeois There is a Moccamaster (a fan fave "pour-over style" drip coffee maker) and French Press for your use as well as an electric kettle for hot water. We provide Valor coffee beans, grinder, filters, tea bags along with salt, pepper, sugar and olive oil. We provide all firewood and there is also a wood-splitter available, if needed. We also have insect repellent, walking poles for hiking, binoculars for bird watching, robes, a hairdryer and shower products. We have an under-counter fridge as well as a portable ice-maker for drinks and a Yeti cooler for extra storage for drinks and ice. There is a Dollar General Market nearby which has ice, food, toiletries and other supplies. There is also a Walmart in Dahlonega and a Publix/Kroger/Walmart in Dawsonville. Note, we do not have televisions - this is on purpose! Make your getaway count. We invite you to slow down and spend quality time together. We created this space specifically for you reconnect as a couple and spend time in nature. This property is located in the woods. Wildlife such as deer, turkeys, bears and the occasional snake or beaver live in the area. Do not store trash outside so you don't attract unwanted critters. If you need to empty your trash prior to checkout, large bear-proof trash cans are located near the entrance to the property (next to well house).
