Thank-you! Guest access Private Entire Guest House - Access to entire space plus private side and back deck and fenced in yard. Private barrel steam sauna for 4 guests to use simultaneously. Other things to note You can walk straight into the park and trails only 2 minutes from this property. Topanga is mostly state park so it's best to buy groceries prior to getting to town. There are some small local grocery stores in town but a lot more options elsewhere. SAUNA INSTRUCTIONS Thermostat (left) controls the temperature of the sauna. Timer (right) turns the heater on and off and can delay the start. Turn the Heater On: Turn dial past the two clunks to number 1 or 2. Turn the timer back until one loud “clunk” is heard, immediately stopping the turn. The heater will run for one hour, automatically shutting off after. The sauna is usually ready after 30 minutes, but you may need to restart the heater while inside. Numbers 1-8 are the number of hours for the delay start. For example, if you turn the timer to 5, your heater will begin heating in five hours. Steam: To creating a "wet sauna" steam experience use the wooden bucket and ladle to sprinkle small amounts of water directly onto the hot volcanic stones located at the top of the heater. Do not pour too much water at once. Sauna Won’t Start: If after turning it on it’s still not heating press the red reset button located under the heater.
