It is ideal for those who want to stop and marry and want to discover the Region. The space It is a cozy masonry house with exposed stone, about 35 square meters, simple but equipped with everything you need, wi-fi, air conditioning and free parking included. It consists of a living room with sofa bed and equipped kitchen, a double bedroom and a bathroom. The large terrace and garden for exclusive use are the beating heart of it. From here you can enjoy an incredible view! On the horizon, 2 active, often smoked volcanoes rise for truly unforgettable sunsets! Despite its extreme proximity to the sea, you need a car or a scooter to get there. As the crow flies, the sea is 200 meters away, but it takes about 3 km (1.9 miles) to reach the nearest beach. It is suitable for comfortably accommodating two people, but if you have a child, the sofa in the entrance can be transformed into a single bed. The place is very secluded, so we imagine it would be perfect for adults, but if you have teenagers or children who you think might enjoy it, they are welcome. Wi-Fi is available for free, and the signal is strong, suitable for those who work remotely. The house was designed for summer stays. We also make it available in the other months, but you should be aware that there is only one air conditioner in the bedroom, which can also be used for heating and as a dehumidifier. It's powerful, but the doors need to be left open to heat the living room. The bathroom is not heated (there is only a small electric heater). For people who are particularly sensitive to humidity, it may not be suitable in the colder/wetter seasons. Guest access Access to the property is given by a large electric gate. Cars can be parked immediately on the left as you enter. To reach the house it is necessary to walk down a path, about 100 meters, rather uneven as it is paved in rough pieces of local stone. We like it very much because it is well integrated into the nature of the place but you will have to be careful when walking on it, it is quite uneven and becomes slippery when it rains Other things to note The tourist tax of 1 euro per day per person is payable on site. We provide sheets and towels when we arrive. If you want intermediate changes, they must be agreed in advance and will have a cost of 25 euros per double bed and towels and 15 euros per single bed and towels Check-in time is from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., but we try to accommodate guests whenever possible and if they give us plenty of advance notice. Checking out after the agreed-upon times may incur additional costs of €20 or more, especially in the evening. On our property, the houses we rent are two, practically twins. They are adjacent but each with its own separate entrance, covered patio, courtyard, and privacy. This is called Stromboli, as its patio faces this always smoking volcano. The other is called Etna as its patio faces a little more towards the Strait of Messina and Etna. Water in Calabria is a precious asset and in the warmer months it can be scarce and the municipal water service can be suspended during the day.
