Nestled in the heart of Amish country, this charming cottage has everything you need for a relaxing getaway at the lake. Vintage style cottage features a private back yard with a fire pit, deck with a picnic table and grill for your enjoyment. Free firewood, two kayaks and canoe for boating on the no wake lake. The property is located across the street from the lake, it includes lake access and a shared pier. Visit Shipshewana and enjoy all this quaint small town has to offer. The space Very cozy and comfortable space with attached sunroom and beautiful view of the lake. This vintage style cottage has touches of yesteryear and includes one queen size bedroom and one standard size bedroom, full kitchen with everything you need, living area with one leather sofa, recliner and smart TV, dining area with seating for 4-6, fiber optic internet and full bath. Peaceful backyard setting with a deck to relax, sip your coffee and watch the wildlife. Enjoy the fire pit to roast marshmallows or just to relax by after a day on the lake. Firewood is provided. Brand new gas grill purchased in 2023. This property is not located directly on the lake but has lake access across the road and has access to a private shared pier and swimming area with a shallow entry. Guest access Guests have access to the whole cottage, private back yard with deck and plenty of space. The cement parking pad has room for 3 parking spaces. Other things to note South Twin Lake is a spring fed, non-sport private lake with no speed boats or jet skis and is considered to be one of the cleanest lakes in Indiana. The cottage is located on a street with no outlet and is peaceful and remote yet is conveniently located 10 minutes from the 80/90 Toll Road. Sturgis Michigan is a short drive north of the cottage where you will find a Wal Mart, Meijer, Aldi, Walgreens, CVS, Dollar General, Starbucks and a variety of restaurants. Shipshewana is a short drive away and is home to the Amish and the famous flea market, homestyle restaurants, Blue Gate Theater, Michiana Event center and much more. We are centrally located an hour from Kalamazoo Michigan, Fort Wayne Indiana and South Bend. Life jackets are provided for your convenience as well as free firewood, 2 kayaks and a canoe. This is a peaceful and relaxing space, NO PARTIES or LARGE GROUPS allowed. Please respect the neighborhood. Outside Guests: Please do not invite guests above and beyond the 4 person capacity of the cottage to stay or utilize the property. While we love friends, we try to keep the space quiet and tranquil for all guests. Thank you for your understanding.
