(See owner for additional pricing) The space Welcome to our ranch! Sun up to sun down this is an oasis of playful animals, quiet grazing hours and traditional feeding rounds. We pride ourselves on our beautiful horse herd, our hilarious small animals and our feral but super friendly pack of dogs. The two cows love to play with their yoga balls while the goats jump around like the crazy kids they are. Every morning we are blessed with delicious fresh eggs from our very own chicken flock and our dogs keep a steady eye on the livestock and our property. This is a working barn/ ranch so yes- it does smells like a barn/ ranch! When you arrive you will be greeted by our vocal dogs; Frankie- a big Great Pyrenees mountain dog Gritt and Sally- two medium breed (they will run along and bark with the vehicles but cause no harm they are just keeping the property safe :) As you come down the drive you will be blown away by the property’s pure serenity. The guest house is above the horse barn and it gives you the ultimate rural ranch experience. Inside you will find a brand new and clean country modern interior. The 75” flat screen in the living room offers streaming on Amazon prime, peacock and HBO Max ect and you can watch it from the leather couch or the bar stools at the very spacious kitchen island. On the south side you will find large windows with a sliding door that allows access to a beautiful deck that is looking into the horse pastures and towards the Kamas valley and beyond. Outside you will enjoy a full patio lounging set with a gas fueled fire pit. There is private parking in front of the barn house (5275 B) for one to two cars. IF you have additional cars please let us know and we can direct you where to park them. Oakley is a very cute rural mountain town that offers access to the Uintah wilderness that stretches all the way to western Wyoming. There are hundreds of hiking, horse back riding and bike trails as well as beautiful lakes and rivers in the summer. During fall and summer we recommend visiting the Jordanelle or Rockport state park if you are interested in a lake day. In the winter months the area offers endless snow and fun at all the ski resorts. There are 8 ski resorts all within 1.5 of the property. Please note that our dogs, cats and sometimes pig and goats, happily free range around the whole property. Horses and cows are large animals and walking into the pastures is not allowed without supervision and prior approval from the hosts. Appropriate treats for the animals can be added to your stay upon request (no extra charge). All animals should be fed with an open palm to minimize the chance of getting nibbled.
