We pride ourselves on our beautiful horse herd, our hilarious small animals and our feral pack of dogs. The two cows love to play with their yoga balls while the goats terrorize the driveway as if they own the place. Every morning we are blessed with delicious fresh eggs from our very own chicken flock and our dogs keep a steady eye on the livestock and our property. When you arrive you will be greeted by our vocal dogs; Frankie- a big Great Pyrenees mountain dog Gritt and Sally- two medium breed (they will run along with the vehicles but cause no harm!) Grit has a unique characteristic where he “smiles” at you so please don’t take his teeth as threatening! As you come down the drive you will be blown away by the property’s pure serenity. The guest house is above the horse barn and it gives you the ultimate rural ranch experience. Inside you will find a brand new modern and minimalistic interior. The 75” flat screen in the living room offers streaming on Amazon prime, peacock and HBO Max and you can watch it from the leather couch or the bar stools at the very spacious kitchen island. On the south side you will find large windows with a sliding door that allows access to a beautiful deck that’s hanging over, and looking into the horse pastures. Outside you will enjoy a full patio lounging set with a gas fueled fireplace. There is private parking in front of the barn house for one to two cars. We ask that you please pop your hood as the goats can sometimes get a little too playful and think cars are their jungle gym! Kamas is a very cute little mountain town that offers access to the Uintah wilderness that stretches all the way to western Wyoming. There are millions of hiking trails and a ton of beautiful fishing lakes in the summer. During fall and summer we recommend visiting the Jordanelle or Rockport state park and the winter offers endless snow fun at all the ski resorts in the area. Please note that our goats, dogs, cats and sometimes pig, happily free range around the whole property. Horses and cows can be dangerous and walking into the pastures is not allowed without supervision. Appropriate treats for the animals can be added to your stay upon request (no extra charge). All animals should be fed with an open palm to minimize the chance of getting bit.
