The two tranquil trout ponds right outside your door are 2 of the original, historic ponds from the legendary Moore-Dale Resort and the popular "Bailey Fishing Ponds," where families and even celebrities like Roy Rogers came to create memories in the 1950s and 60s. Today, this peaceful sanctuary is where couples create their own love stories, blending past magic with curated resort-level experiences designed for two. Your private micro resort offers four signature experiences perfect for active romance: Cast a line together in your private stocked trout ponds (try ice fishing in winter for a true Colorado adventure). Unwind side-by-side in the 4-person hot tub nestled beneath Aspen trees. Rejuvenate together in the cedar barrel sauna with its water view. Retreat to our European heated dome, perfect for warming up after snowshoeing nearby trails, stargazing, or simply relaxing surrounded by nature. Spend your days exploring: fishing, ice fishing and snowshoeing in winter, hiking nearby trails in warmer months, or wandering your private estate hand-in-hand. Less than 1 hour from downtown Denver. -Pristine log cabin with two bedrooms one with a king bed and the second with a queen bed. 1 Modern bathroom with shower only, no tub. -Serenity Ponds Cabin combines cozy log cabin charm with contemporary comfort. -IMPORTANT This retreat is perfect for a couple's getaway, nature lovers, or outdoor adventurers. This is not a large cabin (740 sq ft) though we do sleep up to 4 with a king bed and queen bed. We have an extensive outdoor area with 2 acres of beautiful property to explore. We also have a heated European dome with a TV. -Dome note during the summer we remove the winter set up due to heat and replace the TV and electronics with a table and chairs. -Outside, you'll find two picturesque ponds. Castaway pond (upper) is fully stocked, ideal for fishing or unwinding by the water. The other Aspen Landing (lower) has a dock and a beautiful new fountain. In the winter ask about private ice fishing set up for you right outside on the stocked trout pond. In the summer set up a guided trout fishing trip. -Walk or take a short drive to Payne Gulch trailhead. We are within minutes of dozens more trails giving you easy access to hundreds of miles of trails for hiking, mountain biking, snowshoeing, and horseback riding. You can visit several stunning nearby lakes. Wellington Lake, Chessman Lake, and Tarryall Reservoir. -Let us help you set up an in-cabin or in-dome massage by our masseuse. -Bring your yoga mat or use one of ours we provide. -When it does get hot, which is rare, we do have central air conditioning. -We charge an additional $25 per guest when booked for more than 2 people. This covers the additional cleaning, hot tub, and sauna maintenance. -NO parties. Quiet hours start at 10:00 pm. -NO Animals allowed. We love animals but don’t allow at our property. If you try to sneak an animal in you will be asked to leave and find other lodging. You will also be fined $500 for a deep cleaning fee and we will file a complaint with Airbnb. We do allow service animals with updated proper documentation and no previous rental issues. -Serenity Ponds Bailey is an adult only property. -We communicate with our guests after booking and before check-in to customize your stay. If communicating after booking is not for you then we ask for you to book a different property. -We have one camera on the cabin pointing toward the parking lot away from common areas. We have one camera on the garage pointing to water. Both for safety and liability. -If you are looking for complete seclusion in the middle of wilderness this is not our property. We are on 2 acres and we do have neighbors on acreage as well. We also share a private well maintained road within our small community. This is actually one of many reasons people love our property due to the ease of access to the restaurants in town. STR License #25-0316 Guest access You'll receive a code for the lock the day prior to check-in. The code lock entrance is on the door facing the pond. During the winter it is recommended to have an all-wheel drive SUV due to constantly changing weather conditions. We plow the driveway during heavy snow and will have access paths cleared for your arrival. During the stay we provide a snow shovel for you to use as needed. After 25 years of marriage and raising three kids, we’ve sought to create a place to relax and recharge. Inspired by our travels, we created this sanctuary to share with fellow adventurers. We can’t wait to host you! We have partnered with John Adams to offer private guided Ice fishing for the winter on our fully stocked trout pond. During the warmer months, they guide all around the area. The European Dome set up does change in the summer due to the heat. We remove the TV and electronic due to extreme heat during the day and replace it with a table and chairs. Let us help you set up an in-cabin massage by our masseuse. For a culinary experience enjoy cooking in your full gourmet kitchen or outside on the Blackstone., Don’t want to cook? Visit Aspen Peak Cellars for wine tasting and a wonderful meal while sitting along the river. How about a cold craft beer and some good food? Head over to Craft Mountain Brewing. Both are just seven minutes away, or enjoy the famous South Park Coney Island, only 5 minutes from the cabin. One of our favorite places is 2 Dads with outstanding food for dine-in, an awesome riverfront deck, or take-out just 5 minutes away. Shaggy Sheep is another star restaurant in the area you’ll want to check out. Just 10 minutes up the road in Shawnee. Breakfast and coffee? Off the Rails coffee is fantastic for a latte and a scone! A fun tasty place for breakfast is Cutthroat Café. 2 minutes from Glen Isle and the Treehouse Adventure Park. 30 min to Red Rocks Must be minimum 25 years old to book. NO charcoal grills, open flame rings or fire pits. This is against the Park County Law. This is a 2 bedroom 1 bath cabin meticulously built cabin. It's 740 sq ft. The outdoor living space, including a geo dome and incredible amenities, give plenty of space to hang out. If you are looking for a large cabin this is not for you. This is actually one of many reasons people love our property due to the ease of access to the restaurants in town. -Serenity Ponds is a true mountain property. -Extreme weather or utility safety shut-offs may occasionally cause temporary power interruptions beyond our control. -Weather-related events are considered Acts of God and are not grounds for refunds beyond Airbnb policy. -By booking, guests acknowledge and accept the nature of a mountain environment. -Airbnb charges a significant fee 10-15% fee to hosts and it's built into your total price. -Cleaning fee is $170 which is built into the nightly rate.
