Waterfront cottage on Bearcamp River in OssipeeNH

Welcome to the Bearcamp River! Enjoy your days lounging by the water, kayaking, tubing to Ossipee lake, fishing or just enjoying the property's private beach! The property includes over a mile of manicured trails and offers activities for all 4 seasons including snowmobiling(plenty of room for trailers), hiking, skiing, snowshoeing, swimming and the beautiful fall foliage! Conway is 30 minutes north for great shopping.There are restaurants, gas,parks,breweries, shops within a mile as well. The space There is a queen bed in the bedroom and a futon to accommodate 2 additional guests for a total of 4 guests. Linens for the futon are located in the basket next to the futon (sheets, pillows and lightweight blanket). We have 2 kayaks (down by the river) with life vests and paddles (in deck box behind house). The kitchen is stocked with pots, pans, dishes, silverware. There are also essentials like tea, coffee, salt and pepper. There is a grill on the back with propane canisters (under the sink in the kitchen). We ask that before you leave, the grill be cleaned. If something runs out, just let us know so we can replace it. The river access and beach are located at the back of the property where the kayaks are kept. The property is on over 5 acres for you to explore. The river is about a 5-minute walk down the trails. If you bring anything down like chairs, towels or coolers, make sure they come back up to the house because of the changing level of the river. There are numerous hiking trails in the area. In the winter, you have direct access to the snowmobile trails from the house (across the street). This cottage is on a main road(route 16), but we spend most of our time in the back or by the water where it's very quiet. At the back of the property, there is also a fire pit area with seating which overlooks the river! Guest access You have access to the entire 5 acre property including walking trails and beach. You can still access the walking trails on the property in the winter as well. Snowmobile access is directly across the street. Other things to note Ski works is next door. They also offer rentals for ski equipment and kayaks including shuttle service ($20.00 with advance notice) from Ossipee lake. One thing to note, if you take the kayaks out, I recommend going upriver and floating back down unless you get the shuttle or have another vehicle to transport you back to the house. There are Cornhole boards out back as well with bags. There is also firewood for the fire pit down by the river and in the back yard next to the fire pit. Please put fires out before heading in for the night. In the winter, the snowmobile trails are located across the street for Direct snowmobile access so that you can leave right from the driveway. The driveway can also accommodate large trailers for snowmobiles or boats. You can fuel up directly across the street at the gas station and hop on the trails!
