The Arehucas Rum Factory and Museum, open to the public Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm, is considered one of the municipality's emblematic buildings due to the tradition of this activity in the town. The House and Garden of the Marquise is also an interesting architectural and natural complex owned by the Marquise of Arucas. It was built in 1880 and is surrounded by spacious romantic-style gardens. Open to the public: Monday to Saturday from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm. Located very close to the historic center is Piedras la Cantera, one of the municipality's historic quarries. Open to the public for visits. If you prefer to stroll through the town's natural surroundings, you have the option of climbing the Arucas Mountain, where you can enjoy a beautiful view of the north of the island. Arucas also has beaches, rock and sand, such as Bañaderos-El Puertillo Beach, the natural pools of Los Charcones and San Andrés Beach. In addition, if you want to taste fresh fish and the municipality's own cuisine, the coast of Arucas offers a wide variety of bars and restaurants where you can make a stop.
