Coming to enjoy Lake Cumberland? Park your boat in the backyard! The space We hope our property feels like home for all of our guests! The kitchen is stocked with cookware, dinnerware, a drip coffee maker and other basic staples to help with any meals you choose to prepare! The Master Bedroom features a Queen size bed and a private bath with a soaker tub. The second bedroom features a Full Size bed, and the third bedroom features a Twin bed. We also have a sleeper sofa with a Queen fold out, and a Full Size air mattress for multiple sleeping arrangements! The home sits on a large corner lot lined with trees at the back and overlooking a small dairy farm. There is space for boat/jet ski parking in the rear of the property underneath the trees! Guests can enter the property through the back door on the large deck, which also has a propane grill for outdoor dining during those beautiful Kentucky evenings! A short drive East or West will put you at a boat dock to enjoy Lake Cumberland, or the cities of Somerset and Russell Springs! Guest access Guests have access to the entire space except the Master Bedroom closet for now! Please note that the TV stand in Bedroom 3 has a light feature that can create loud and fast flashes. We do NOT recommend using the light feature if you are epileptic or prone to seizures. Other things to note We sincerely hope that you enjoy your stay at The Shore Great Getaway! We are new to the hospitality industry, so please let us know if something is missing during your stay. We are ready to learn! Two specific things to note: First, Bedroom 3 has a TV stand that lights up and can be set to flash. If you are epileptic, we do not recommend turning the lights on. If you can handle the flash, and choose to use the feature PLEASE turn it off when you are finished with it. Second is the Washer and Dryer. The washer only uses liquid detergent (as I learned from experience). Slots are marked for detergent/fabric softener, and water should be added to the liquid fabric softener slot to ensure it fills to capacity. The dryer requires that the lint trap be cleaned off after each load, and a wastebasket is provided to just drop that into! This is also a personal experience lesson, as it doesn’t dry if that screen isn’t clean!
