Unwind in rich coziness bathed in sunlight and tranquility in your private garden setting. Soak in your private hot tub, while Leonard, a majestic 100ft Redwood, keeps silent watch. The unique blend of vintage charm and updated amenities creates a perfect escape where modern comfort meets vintage vibes. The space We want your stay to be effortless. Upon arrival, your warm and modern sanctuary will be stocked with a few essentials so you won't have to worry about coffee or a morning nosh should you arrive late. We'll always have: homemade bread or muffins, coffee and cream, and more! Feeling peckish? We're passionate cooks and have equipped the kitchen with top-notch cookware and a well-stocked pantry. Think EVOO, spices, grains, oatmeal, pasta – everything you need to whip up a delicious meal since you'll probably never want to leave the Bathhouse. As twilight paints the sky, you might hear the Sausalito foghorn, a gentle reminder of our close proximity to the San Francisco Bay and its iconic fog, "Karl." Speaking of proximity - Muir Woods, Sonoma & Napa Wine Country and Stinson & Bolinas beaches are all within close reach to our conveniently located cottage. Guest access The Bathhouse is situated in your private backyard behind our main home on the 10,000 sq ft property. You'll have access to our outdoor gas BBQ located outside the back door of the main house, if you wish. Other things to note There are some uneven lava and stone steps along the path to the Bathhouse and the hot tub that may be physically challenging to some (peruse photos). Laundry facilities are shared with us and located below the main house, off the covered parking. Please contact us to use laundry during these hours: Weekdays (8am to 5pm) Weekends (9am to 8pm). There are extra towels in the cabinetry below the living room t.v. There is a multi-pronged phone/gadgetry charger in the same cabinet area if you forget yours. The mini books on the bedroom nightstands are your gift, along with the pens, if you so choose. There is a drying rack in the bedroom closet.
