1000 sq ft garden level apartment, with two bedrooms, spacious living area, bathroom and kitchenette. Large windows look out onto a beautiful forested park with trails, creek and playground. Queen bedroom and twin bedroom are separated by the living area which has a sofa-bed. You have a separate entrance and the space is very clean, quiet, and comfortable. Safe, restful, upscale neighborhood. Retreat and be "forest bathing" while only 15 minutes from downtown Portland and 1 hour from the coast! The space Our back-yard forest is peaceful and inspiring and you can enjoy it from the garden swing right outside your front door! Hear the creek and the birds, including resident owls. Your entrance is at the back of the house and opens on to the forest side. The two bedrooms have room darkening curtains for a restful night's sleep. Wireless internet is available and there is a smart TV with Netflix. Heating and cooling is by central-air and there is an extra heater in each room. Our space is great for families: there are children's amenities such as games, puzzles, and legos. We are a shoes-off home so please bring your slippers! The kitchenette is well equipped with fridge, microwave, toaster oven, toaster, blender, tea kettle and coffee maker, but no oven or cook top. Bring what you'll need for meals, or get takeout from the many good restaurants just minutes away to enjoy in the spacious dining area! Guest access The entire apartment is for guest use, with a separate entrance on the lower level at the back of the house. Other things to note Please note that the entrance to the apartment is down 15 shallow gravel steps to the left of the house and around to the forest side at the back of the house. There are no handrails so if you are at all unsure of your footing please see the additional photos to check for ease of accessibility. If you're not able to navigate steps without a handrail it may not work for you.
