Description

La Casa degli Oleandri is located inside the ancient Baglio di Borgopetra, built in the 1700s, lovingly restored and since then open to hospitality. Inside the property, there are 3 other apartments of different sizes, all tastefully furnished with family furniture and souvenirs from around the world, and arranged around the inner courtyard. The windows of the houses overlook the vegetable garden and the garden, with cascades of geraniums, jasmine, century-old oleanders and the orchard. The space The former stable of the house is a large room under a sloping roof. It has a double bed and a sofa bed (182 cm long futon, suitable for a child/teenager), a small kitchen in a separate room, and a bathroom. The house is suitable for a couple or a couple with a child. Outdoor space: In the courtyard, shared with other guests: it has lounge chairs and a wrought iron coffee table. Private parking, equipped kitchen, heating (methane boilers + heat pumps), air conditioning in the bedrooms, TV, WIFI, beds with mattresses and memory foam pillows and toppers, bedding and towels are available. Guest access Guests will have all the common areas, the internal courtyard, the terraces and the garden with the swimming pool and the old 'puppet theater' where you will find the ping pong table, billiards, bathrooms (with washing machine) and the indoor and outdoor shower. No pets allowed and no smoking in all indoor areas. Other things to note Borgopetra – guest house converted from what was once the manor house of the Rapisardi di Sant'Antonio barons. With a square layout and overlooking the elegant patio – protected by the Superintendency of Fine Arts – the structure is like an island in the ancient urban context: silent and secluded, but not remote. The windows of the houses overlook the vegetable garden and the garden, where the cascades of geraniums and jasmine and the tufts of centenary oleander stand out, the small collection of succulents, the orchard that has something to offer at any time of the year. Borgopetra is a harmonious and articulated of houses, vegetable gardens, millstones and warehouses built in the early 1700s in the heart of the town of Mascalucia, on the southern slopes of Etna, just 10 km from Catania and 20 minutes from Fontanarossa International Airport. Protected by the Superintendency of Fine Arts, the property has a dual vocation: that of a place to stay, seduced by the microcosm of the village, and that of a place from which to start discovering places, stimulated by the strategic position at the foot of Mount Etna, and close to Catania, Taormina and the Ionian coast with its wonders, The Bay of the Cyclops and Aci Castello, the village of Acitrezza and the Baroque town of Acireale. Borgopetra is the starting point from which to set out to discover a territory full of charm, breathtaking landscapes, art, nature, culture and beauty. For your safety, some common outdoor areas may be subject to video surveillance. Registration Details IT087024B4IUMVAXEZ
