Welcome to our lovely one bedroom villa at Marina Bay. Our one bedroom villa is spacious and well equipped with everything you need for a truly relaxing island getaway. We are adjacent to an island waterway and less than 100 yards from the breathtaking Caribbean Sea, on the quiet end of Dickenson Bay. We often say it's like having our own private beach:) Several amazing restaurants and snack huts are within walking distance! The space Our charming Villa has a spacious one bedroom, one bathroom layout with tile floors and local island artwork that my mother and I handpicked throughout. A keyless access entryway leads you to a spot to hang your beach bag and keys. Plus, a small dresser to store any additional items if needed. The island is "plastic free" and we provide some reusable shopping bags for you to use on your trips to the local market. The spacious one bedroom has a comfortable king size bed with a large dresser, small table for workspace (or getting ready to go out) and a large wall mounted flat screen tv. The large walk in closet also houses an iron, ironing board and yoga mat for your convenience. This room is equipped with an air conditioning unit that we recommend using in the evening hours. The full bathroom has a beautifully tiled walk in shower and bathroom vanity with a few extra drawers for storage of toiletries during your stay plus a hair dryer. Our towels are Restoration Hardware and they are dreamy:) Our open concept kitchen and living area is well equipped with everything you could need. A large basket filled with beach towels sits next to our comfortable Pottery Barn sofa. Two living room chairs also make for a nice spot to cozy up to a book or unwind with the large flat screen tv. An additional AC unit is placed above the two living room chairs and cools the room down beautifully if needed in the evening hours. Daytime provides a luxurious island breeze with the windows and sliding glass doors open. The kitchen has a large refrigerator, a beautiful butcher block countertop and small dining table with 4 chairs- although, we highly recommend dining on your private porch while watching the sunset;) There is a full range stovetop and oven combo, microwave, Keurig (regular coffee maker available upon request), Vitamix, hand mixer and just about every imaginable kitchen item you could need during your stay! Finally, the private porch has a direct view that connects our marina to the Caribbean sea. You can easily watch cruise ships and fishing boats come and go out of port, catch a gorgeous sunrise or sunset or just relax throughout the day on the lounge chair. Additionally, the porch houses a table with four chairs plus a Weber grill. Guest access In case you need any help or information during your stay, please do not hesitate to get in touch with me.
