Thank you 😊 The space Our cottage will offer you a quiet refuge and a stopping point during your trip to Kokořínsko, whether you are going there on purpose or just passing through and need to sleep. You can spend the day, for example, on trips around the area, make something good for dinner on the fire in the evening and enjoy a moment of peace. In the rain, autumn or winter, you don't even have to get out of bed and it's nice to just lie down with a book, play games, make a good tea, make a fire in the fireplace and watch the animals from the window, which will definitely come to visit you. It's up to you how you spend your time with us. Hygge atmosphere guaranteed, as well as a peaceful and undisturbed sleep. The land is located above the village of Skramouš, in a place that is on the border of deciduous forest, meadows and fields. At night, you won't be disturbed by any passing cars or noisy neighbors. EQUIPMENT INSIDE THE HOUSE The cottage is not connected to the mains, which means that there is no running hot water inside. Electricity yes, but from a solar panel. Only USB sockets and ceiling lights are available. This is a house that we have equipped and adapted for 4 people. The size of the house is about 5m x 2.2m, so it is a mini house, it is necessary to take note of this. Inside there is a fully equipped kitchen with a stove, mini fridge, dishes and basic cooking necessities such as oil, salt, etc. Coffee and tea are also available. Drinking water and dishwashing water will be prepared and imported in barrels. I replenish the water during a longer stay. There is also sleeping space for four people inside. Sleeping for two on a double bed overlooking the forest from a large window, sleeping for one on a bunk bed (more suitable for children or smaller people) and for the fourth person there is a folding mattress on the floor. Bedding is included. The seating at the table is by a large window overlooking the field and meadow. Wood-burning stove is part of the cottage, so the stay is possible all year round. The stove heats the house beautifully in a moment (depending on the outside temperature). Other amenities - books, cards, lantern, towels, curtains. There's a mosquito net in the opening window. GARDEN The whole property is fenced and we are happy to welcome dogs up to 10kg approx. Beware, small breeds like chihuahuas can climb through the fence! In the garden there is a fireplace and seating around it, a picnic bench, a grill, a hammock, solar lighting, a toilet and an outdoor shower. Firewood for fireplace and hearth, grill tripod with grate and roasting fork are available. toilet The toilet is dry, separating. Toiletries available. SHOWER During the summer, an outdoor solar bag is available as a shower. During the winter there is an outdoor covered bathroom (inside the temperature is the same as outside) where it is possible to heat the water for the bath, so it is possible to wash with hot water. ❗️IMPORTANT INFORMATION ❗️ IT IS NOT PERMITTED TO INVITE NON-PAYING VISITORS TO THE PROPERTY. THERE IS ALSOME RISK OF A FINE IF THERE ARE MORE PEOPLE ON THE PROPERTY THAN STATED IN THE RESERVATION. NO PARTIES, CELEBRATIONS, OR LOUD MUSIC. IF YOU PLAN TO BE NOISY, MAKE A MESS AND DISTURB THE PEACE IN NATURE, PLEASE BOOK A STAY WITH SOMEONE ELSE. STAY WITH DOGS - unfortunately we have to introduce a new rule, limit the stay with dogs to dogs up to 10kg approx. It is also forbidden to have a dog in bed... if this rule is not followed, we will be forced to completely ban dogs. The fee for the entire stay for the dog is 300CZK and the dog must be reported. I recommend packing slippers. The property is in a quiet and private place, but it is not a complete solitude where you will not meet anyone. The property can be reached by a forest road that continues along the field, where sometimes someone from the village passes for a walk or to walk a dog. A tractor sometimes passes through the field above the caravan, it works there, it is necessary to take it into account. About 180 m from the plot in the middle of the meadow there is glamping accommodation (tent), both plots have privacy and do not see each other. The tent will be in the meadow until mid-September and then again from the beginning of April.
