CASA CARIBE is a highly secluded one-of-a-kind DOUBLE BEACHFRONT home on a private 3-acre jungle-adjacent estate with 360 degree views overlooking the Ocean & Barrier Reef, Politilly Bay and the Jungle canopy. Whether you're looking for extreme privacy, a honeymoon hideaway, family vacation or group retreat, find it here. A private Pool & Hot Tub with sunset views, private sun deck and numerous hammocks will keep you relaxed in paradise. We are an animal friendly property!! The kids (and many adults) really love this aspect of our property. Due to fostering, the numbers fluctuate at times. Generally we have: —3 super-friendly dogs who patrol the property and provide company to the guests; —3 cats who think they’re dogs and keep the house free of unwanted pests —3 aviaries with tropical birds; —2 ponds (one near the house and the other near the caretaker casita) with cascading waterfalls, goldfish, koi, angelfish and turtles —an aquarium, Glo-Danio breeding setup —a chicken coup for fresh eggs! We make SCUBA easy. There are several nearby dive shops and you can charter our small boat to take you from our private dock; or if you own all your own equipment, you can shore dive from the house (though it is a bit of a swim to the outside reef). **SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS** 1. Our concrete constructed beach home is perched atop a small hill at water's edge with 2 private beaches in Politilly Bight overlooking the turquoise colored waters of the Bay & Caribbean and all the way around to the luscious green canopy of the Jungle. The 3-acre property is fully fenced, gated and locked and our dogs patrol the yard 24/7. Surrounding neighbors all have multiple acre properties ensuring your privacy and solitude for ultimate relaxation. Unlike most properties on the island **ALL WATER IS DRINKABLE** coming from any faucet on the property as it is double sand filtered, ozonated and filtered by UV light, making it completely safe and drinkable. No need for bottled water or worrying if it is safe. You can even drink the hose water! For your comfort and convenience, our on-site caretakers will be available to assist you with any needs at the property. One lives on property in a separate caretaker's residence at the East end of our property to provide 24/7 convenience and security. The grounds and home are also monitored by an offsite security company through an alarm system. Upon arrival you will be greeted by one of our caretakers with fresh coconuts. Anything you need, they are always just a phone call or holler away. Whether it's an early morning kayak launch or late night concern, he will be there to assist you! He is a local and can regale you with stories and island history if you are interested. He is also able to assist you when donning your snorkel or scuba gear before getting into the water at our beach or dock. After coming inside, you'll find cold refreshments, fresh fruit and a few goodies to help you recover from your flight to our island-paradise! The Ground floor has a garage (locked) and laundry and utility rooms. In the Laundry Room you'll find a washer and dryer for your convenience. On the 1st floor are the Bedrooms. Each Bedroom has its own AC system and separate ceiling fan to ensure maximum comfort. --The Master Suite has a dreamy King Bed and 2 hand-carved rocking chairs.. From the bed you can clearly see the Ocean and Pool and peeks of the Jungle just outside. There is a large walk-through closet and oversized bathroom, and just outside the private door is the pool deck! --The 1st Guest Bedroom has a Queen Bed, a comfy Double-size Futon and a private doorway directly out to the pool deck. Views of the Ocean, Pool, Beach and Jungle can be seen from this room. --The 2nd Guest Bedroom has a King Bed. Views of the Jungle dominate the windows but the Ocean can easily be seen from this room also! The private exterior door opens onto the pool deck for easy access. There is a shared bathroom just outside the 2 Guest Bedroom doors. The Top Floor is an expansive open space with Chef's Kitchen, Dining Room, Sitting Area, and TV Lounge. There is also a 1/2 bath with toilet and sink adjacent the kitchen. Four extra-large fans with custom hand-carved wooden fan blades adorn the locally sourced Honduran Pine vaulted ceiling and compliment the six-foot wrought iron chandelier. Cook large family meals using state of the art appliances, granite counter-tops and a well-equipped kitchen. Or enjoy a good book in the Sitting Area, catch the big game on the new 55" LCD TV in the TV Lounge or sit out on the deck in a hammock gazing out over the turquoise waters. Outside on the Top wraparound Deck you'll find several hooks to place one of the many hammocks you'll find on property. There is also a large hand carved wooden table on the Deck for outdoor eating. And finally you can bird watch using our binoculars, relax and read a book, take a nap or just stare out into the jungle while lying in one of the 2 hand carved lounge chairs on this Deck. If grilling is your fancy, Oscar will happily bring the BBQ up from the garage for you to use just outside one of the kitchen doors. Down below on the Pool Deck you'll encounter 6 additional lounge chairs and a set of 4 folding teak chairs. There are benches near the Hot Tub and additional seating at the edge of the Pool. The Pool isn't heated, but you wouldn't want it to be in this tropical paradise. The adjacent Hot Tub can be adjusted to your preferred temperature and is covered with a large roof so you can enjoy it even during a rainstorm. Next to the hot tub is a new 15x15 feet sun deck overlooking the beach and ocean. Maid Service once during your stay is included for stays 7 days and longer. Additional days of Maid service can be arranged for an added cost. Daily on-site local meal preparation is available for an added cost - arranged on-site. If partying is what you want to do, getting to the West End for big clubs and bars is just a cab ride away. Or if local music and dancing is more your style, have one of the caretakers take you to the neighboring village of Punta Gorda on Fri/Sat/Sun to dance the night away in a palapa on the beach, having the time of your life. He and his assistant will be available to assist with everything from carrying groceries/bags, launching kayaks, cleaning the BBQ, catching you fresh fish, translation assistance, tour guide to local villages and just about anything else you might think of! Our cleaning staff will come in to clean one day mid-stay. She will refresh your linens and flowers and make sure things are tidy. On request, she will also do your laundry. GRATUITIES: your Caretakers, Housekeepers, cook and anyone else who assists you during your stay likely earns a substantial portion of his//her wages in the form of gratuities. Plan for 10-20% of your total trip cost for gratuities to on-site staff. Electricity is super expensive on the island currently. As such, electricity usage will be recorded by our Property Manager during your stay and we bill separately for usage above our normal daily use. Please remember to turn off ACs when not in use. We highly encourage you to purchase travel insurance to cover the cost of your reservation in the event you are unable to arrive. No refund will be issued to guests canceling within 30 days of arrival due to the seasonality and location of the home making it impossible to backfill a cancelled reservation within 30 days.
