As a state-recognized resort town, Lübben is the ideal starting point for exploring the wonderful Spreewald. Lübben isn’t as overrun with tourists as other places in the Spreewald—life here is more laid-back. Whether you take a leisurely boat ride through picturesque landscapes or explore on your own by paddleboat or bicycle, the Spreewald will captivate you. From Lübben, you can also visit the Spreewald village of Schlepzig, with its brewery, distillery, and many other highlights; take a trip to Burg (Spreewald) to visit the Spreewaldtherme; or explore the Slawenburg Raddusch. This is just a small selection of the possibilities; we’ve put together a list for you in our information folder. The Spreewaldhaus in Lübben would love to be your temporary home as you explore the Spreewald—a region that holds its own special charm in every season. That’s why our vacation home is open year-round for you. Spreewaldhaus Vacation Home: The vacation home is designed to accommodate 4 people, but two additional guests can sleep on the sofa bed in the living room. In the two bedrooms, you can enjoy peaceful nights in box-spring double beds. In addition, both bedrooms and the living room offer ample storage space for your belongings. Both bedrooms feature hardwood floors (Spanish walnut), and in one bedroom, a clay wall helps maintain a pleasant indoor climate. PLEASE NOTE: Ceiling height in the bedrooms is only 2.00 / 2.07 m (so not suitable for “tall people”). In addition to a sink and toilet, the bathroom also has a bathtub and shower. You’re also welcome to use the washing machine located there and the electric clothes dryer in the bedroom. The kitchen is equipped with a stove with oven, microwave, dishwasher, and fridge-freezer. There is plenty of cutlery and dishes available, so you can feel right at home here. The living room is very spacious and features a seating area and a cozy couch setup for relaxing (and, when converted into a sleeper sofa, for sleeping). A large-screen TV with a Blu-ray player and satellite TV is also at your disposal. The living room has laminate flooring. From the living room, you have access to a covered patio, where lounge furniture invites you to relax and spend time together. In addition to the terrace, the yard of your vacation home also features a barbecue area and a smoking area. You have access to free Wi-Fi inside the house and on the terrace. Parking is available in front of the property, and a car can also be parked next to the house in a lockable driveway. Bicycles can be stored in a lockable shed on the property. Following a complete and loving renovation, the vacation home has been available to guests since July 2018 and can be rented year-round. In winter, the house is fully heated by district heating. We have chosen the green energy provider EWS Schönau as our electricity supplier.
