The space LCH is located at 354 Sugartown Road in Devon, Pennsylvania, and is recognized by its stone pillared gate and wooden fence line. The guest home sits approximately 75 feet east of Lismore, a 1928 home designed and built by Alfred Lohmann on twelve acres in historic Chester County. The main house and Olmsted-designed landscape are five years into a complete renovation and restoration, with excellent guidance from Archer & Buchanan Architecture, ECT Builders, and Donald Pell Gardens. Guest access The Lismore Carriage House is situated east of the Main House on our property. We welcome you to enjoy the area around the LCH and encourage you to walk the many paths in the woods directly behind the garden. We kindly ask that guests avoid areas directly adjacent to the Main House, including the garage, pool, front circle and west gardens. Other things to note This is a non-smoking property. There is no smoking of ANY KIND while on premises, inside or outside. Let’s be very clear - that means no smoking of any substance. It means no tobacco or vaping, no pipes or electronic pens. Thank you. We have three Labrador Retrievers, one fox red (Nelson), one white (Snowbound) and one black (Hudson). They are VERY friendly and have full access to the acreage of the property. The LCH and the Main House sit within the invisible fence perimeter, so please be aware that there are times you may encounter them. The dogs love attention, and feel free to enjoy their company, but they love food more. Please don’t feed them!
