Welcome to our historic, 1920’s era, charming, two-story, 3 bedroom, 2 bath home, located in the quintessential, small town of New Bethlehem, PA. Here in “New B,” small-town festivals and Friday night high school football games are just a part of our DNA. Our home is just seconds from Redbank Valley bicycle trail, and within walking distance to downtown shops and restaurants, as well as fishing in the Redbank Creek. The space Our air-conditioned/heated house features a large dining area, a fun, retro-style kitchen, TV room with a large flat-screen and Roku, first floor laundry, a full bathroom with shower, as well as a rear entrance to the deck area and back yard. On the second floor, you will find three nice sized bedrooms with either a queen or double bed. Upstairs you will also find a retro bathroom with bright green tile and large old-fashioned soaking tub! There is a park-like level rear yard, a gas grill, and outdoor dining on the deck with umbrella seating. There is a small detached garage and rear ally access where you may store your bicycles, kayaks, and fishing gear. Other things to note This home is in a residential neighborhood. We are a hop, skip, and a jump from the bicycle rails to trails, located just behind our home. We are 20 minutes from Clarion, PA, location of Penn West University, home of the Autumn Leaf Festival. Smucker’s Peanut Butter factory is located within walking distance from our home. New Bethlehem is home to the annual Peanut Butter Festival! This festival runs annually in September. More info can be found on the Redbank Valley Chamber of Commerce website! The Amish community in Smicksburg is approx 30 minutes away and is a nice day trip. We also are approx 20 minutes from Brookville, PA via Rt 28. Cook Forest is approx 40 minutes via 28 N and Rt 36N. Please keep in mind we are in a residential neighborhood, and expect all guests to abide by local ordinances and laws. This is non-smoking, non-vaping property. Due to guests who may have allergies, we do not normally allow pets, but can make recommendations for over-night boarding at local kennels. We may consider a no -shedding, well-behaved pet with permission and additional fee. Please ask!
