Welcome to the idyllic municipality of Lutzenberg in the hilly Appenzellerland. The small former Wöschhüsli with barrel sauna is surrounded by green meadows and trees. The cozy cottage impresses with lots of charm and comfort. Another highlight in addition to the sauna is the stream that flows through the property and gives the whole a relaxed atmosphere. Whether peace seekers, nature lovers or those interested in culture – everyone will find their retreat here. The space The well-equipped, cozy cottage is located in a quiet residential area in the municipality of Lutzenberg. The Wöschhüsli is perfect for two to four adventurous, nature-loving people who dare to heat independently with a wood-burning stove on colder days. In the gray seasons, our guests enjoy the barrel sauna. Just a few steps from the cottage is a small shop with everyday things and fresh bread. In the summer months, the outdoor pool of the rehabilitation center can be used, which makes children's hearts beat faster. The place is surrounded by numerous wonderful hiking trails that lead through the hilly landscape of the Appenzell region. In summer, the accommodation is a great starting point for activities in the imposing Alpstein or for excursions to nearby Lake Constance. In colder seasons, winter sports enthusiasts will get their money's worth... The Wöschhüsli has the following to offer: Sleeping places The cozy bedroom under the roof, which can be reached from the living room via a wooden staircase, ensures a restful sleep. Facilities: * one bedroom with double bed (1.60 m) * a sofa bed (about 1.60 m) in the living room Living room/dining area If the weather is not so good, then you can make yourself comfortable in the cozy living room with a fire. Whether you want to relax on the sofa with a book and a glass of wine, watch a movie on TV or play a game – you won't lack anything. Facilities: * Sofa bed * Wooden table with bench and 2 stools * Wood burning stove * 55" flat screen TV for various streaming providers * High-speed Internet – home office possible * wi-fi Kitchen/dining area: The small but nice, super-equipped kitchen offers everything to prepare a balanced breakfast or a delicious meal and enjoy together. Facilities: * Ceramic hob with four hotplates * Refrigerator with freezer compartment * Oven * Microwave * Watercooker * Coffee machines (De Longhi/Bialetti) * Soda Stream * Plates, pots, bowls, pans, cutlery, dishes, glasses, cups * Salt, pepper, oil, vinegar and some other spices Bathrooms: The well-maintained bathroom has a toilet and shower. Shower gel/shampoo can be found on site. Outdoor area: The cottage is surrounded by a completely fenced garden - ideal for four-legged companions. The various seating options invite you to linger. In the meadow next to the stream, you can start the day with a meditation with birdsong and sunshine. The sauna can be booked in addition. Facilities: * Dining lounge * Barrel sauna with wood stove * Rattan table with bench and chair * Barbecue area with fire bowl and wooden chairs Other things to note ✔️ Heating: There is NO central heating in the property. On cold days, the house must be heated by a wood-burning stove. There is also a radiator in the bathroom. Hot water is available throughout the house. ✔️ Dog fee: We charge a fee of 50 CHF per stay and dog. ✔️ Use of the sauna: For a fee of 75 CHF, you can fire up the great barrel sauna as many times as you want during your stay!
