Beautiful Ayr B&B

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. We’ve got a big, beautiful garden, a big beautiful pool (although it is closed for the season), and a sweet small dog. The backyard is full of birds, toads, chipmunks, squirrels and bunnies, a short walk through a forest path will have you at a pond with ducks, geese, sometimes swans, sometimes blue herons. We have a gym, board games, foosball, and a racing simulator. Our home is quiet and truly full of peace. You are welcome here. The space There is often some area or room under construction so watch out for that -feel free to ask. The pictures in the listing show places that are ready for you. Do not go past the pool. Do not come to the front foyer of the house. There's nothing to see there anyways… Guest access #pool tldr; shared pool use is free, but guaranteed exclusive pool use is an extra fee per hour. ... meaning, the pool can be used anytime that we do not have an exclusive booking already scheduled. If we have a private pool event that takes place after 12pm that might conflict with your stay, we will communicate that during the booking inquiry to avoid surprises. If you happen to want to book the pool for exclusive use then the rate is $40 per hour, but most guests enjoy hours of uninterrupted pool time by working around our schedule. # shared things outside The BBQ, deck, patio, and garden area are in an outdoor shared space. Full disclosure -there is a small portion of the wooden deck pending construction at end of the summer but that has yet to affect anyone. # shared things inside The dining table and kitchen are available but these are hubs of our everyday lives so do not expect them to be tidy nor exclusive at anytime. It will be a bonus if they are. There is a small fridge in your room area for you to use. The gym is also the TV room. If you have a specific time you want to use the gym /TV room then coordinate with us please. The washing machine can be available after 7pm and before 7am or on weekends. We dry wet laundry on a rack or on a line. # arcade games This is a racing simulator. It's meant to be authentic which, for many, means it's a lot harder than expected. We have an awesome retro arcade console! The racing simulator requires supervision. It is 1 person at a time. We also have an Xbox which is controller based. During your stay We are often around and you'll likely bump into us if you come into the shared areas. If it's an emergency then call. Otherwise, message on airbnb or text at the number. Other things to note We would prefer you ask too many questions, than too few. Ask away! We are Christians and this house serves the Lord. We are happy to pray with you or for you if you need it
