Our place is in Ishiyama,just 13 min from Kyoto and 50 min from Osaka. It’s a peaceful town near the southern tip of Lake Biwa, with rivers, nature, and history. You can enjoy quiet stays away from the busy city, explore Ishiyama-dera Temple, or go cycling along the lakeside. Try amazing Omi Beef, one of Japan’s top 3 wagyu! Walk by the Seta River, relax in nature, and visit nearby spots like MIHO Museum, Hikone Castle and more. The room has warm lighting and a 240cm-wide bed for perfect rest. The space 🏆 Guest Favorite! Traditional House / 13 min to Kyoto / 240cm Bed I have beautifully renovated a historic Japanese house to create a space where everyone can feel at home. Away from the hustle and bustle of the city, Ishiyama is a peaceful town where you can live like a local. It is also very convenient, with many restaurants, supermarkets, and convenience stores nearby. We have also installed a compact projector for your entertainment! 😊 ■ Sleep in Luxury The bed is a massive 240cm wide (40cm wider than a standard King size). It is spacious enough for 3 people to sleep comfortably. You can also experience sleeping on traditional Japanese tatami mats. Note: For 4 guests, 3 will sleep on the large bed and 1 will sleep on a futon in the Japanese room. 【Location & Access】 JR Ishiyama Station: 3 min walk (13 min to Kyoto by train) Keihan Ishiyama Station: 3 min walk (Convenient for Lake Biwa, Ishiyamadera, and Mt. Please note: Seasonings are not provided. 【Important Notes】 This house is ideal for 2 to 3 guests. For 4-guest bookings, the sleeping arrangement is 3 on the large bed and 1 on a futon. Since the house is located near a railway and road, please be aware if you are sensitive to noise. 🙏 Guest access Guest Access: You have full access to the entire house.
