Hobart Homestead
Description
Rest and relax on this family farm. There is plenty available to do on site like pet the goats, feed the chickens, picnic in the flower garden, and wander the back forest. If off site is your cup of tea we are conveniently located 1 minute from Hwy 18, 40 minutes from Seattle, 40 minutes from skiing at Snoqualmie Ridge, 40 minutes from Tahoma, 5 minutes from local hikes, and 8 minutes to quality local restaurants. The space Welcome to your own separate unit in the daylight basement of our home. It was originally used for long term renters so there is a full kitchen, separate locking entry, and designated parking. Laundry room available upon request. We have three outgoing girls who would love to play with any kids that visit and we have lots of outdoor things for kids to play on (with supervision): trampoline, large rope swing, disc swing, and large tree house. Because the unit is below our living space and next to the laundry room there will be noise during the day but we endeavor to keep things as quiet as possible from 10pm to 8am. If you would like additional quiet time please ask and we will do our best to accommodate. Guest access Park at the far end of the garage, between the sunflower decor. Walk down the path between the buildings to find your private patio and independent locking entrance. Patio with furniture, separate locking entry, living space with pull out couch, full kitchen, office with large futon, master bedroom with reading chair, 3/4 bath with gorgeous walk in shower. Laundry available on request. Other things to note This is a working farm with goats, chickens, a dog, two cats, and 3 children. Sleeping arrangements: The master bedroom has a queen bed, the office has a futon that converts to a queen bed, and the living room has a sleeper sofa that expands out into a queen sized sleeping surface. Dogs must be kept on a leash while outside and not allowed to bother the goats or chickens. Please clean up after your pet.
