Our pods are situated at the foot of Ben Wyvis on an elevated site with panoramic views over the beautiful Victorian Village of Strathpeffer, Knockfarrel, Cromarty Firth and beyond. Perfectly situated as an ideal base for the NC500 and in the perfect location to view the Aurora Borealis. Each pod has its own bedroom, shower room, kitchen and living area. Outside on the veranda is your own private hot tub, fire pit, bbq and seating. Use of our shared sauna is also available to all guests. The space Each pod has a clever layout sleeping up to 2 adults in the fixed double bed. A comprehensive compact kitchen with oven, ceramic hob, kettle, microwave, oven, toaster, fridge, crockery and utensils. All Pods have full en-suite facilities with heated towel rail, bath towels, bath robes and Arran Aromatics shampoo, conditioner and showel gel provided. In the living area is a Smart TV and corner sofa along with a pop out dining table and stools adjacent to the large french windows with incredible views over Strathpeffer, "The Cat's Back", Dingwall, The Cromarty Firth and beyond. Our veranda wraps around the pod and provides privacy to use your own private hot tub. A bbq, outdoor seating and a fire pit is also provided. Take in the stunning scenery, star gaze at our clear, dark skies and maybe even get the chance to view the Aurora Borealis. We also have our Clearlight Sanctuary Infared Sauna which is located near our office. The sauna is shared between all pods and is available for you to use during your stay. All pods have access to WiFi. Free parking within our carpark. Guests can unload luggage at the turning circle by the office and then return their car to the carpark. The road to our glamping site is quite steep. In winter when there is bad weather such as ice or snow, a 4x4 vehicle may be required. Please take this in to account prior to booking. A car is essential for your stay as you will need to drive to the nearby villages, they are not within walking distance especially due to the hills. Guest access You have full use of your own pod, private veranda space and use of our public sauna. Parking in our car park. Other things to note We have free parking on site with our carpark just a the bottom of our pods. On arrival you can park in the turning circle by the office, unload then return your car to the carpark. Please note that our glamping pods are located up a steep hill and you may require a 4x4 in bad weather such as snow and ice. Please take this into consideration. Being dog owners ourselves, we understand the importance of being able to take your four legged best friend with you which is why three of our pods are dog friendly. We want you and your doggy to have a relaxing, stress-free holiday which is why we keep our rules very simple: - Please don't allow dogs on beds or furniture - Pick up any dog mess on site - Please don't leave your dog unattended in the pod Each pod allows up to one dog to stay - £25 fee is charged additionally and a doggy welcome pack supplied on arrival. Unfortunately due to the size of our site and pod, one dog is the maximum. We are strictly no smoking within the pods and hot tub area. There is a designated smoking area with ash bin by the picnic benches near the office. We do not allow parties such as hen and stag dos. Please note that during your stay a member of our team will be checking the hot tub each morning around 9am/10am. This is essential to ensure the chemical levels are correct and that the hot tub is in safe working order for you. Our hot tubs are drained, cleaned and refilled after each stay to ensure high standards of cleanliness inbetween guests. Thanks for your understanding.
