The kitchen and BBQ area invite you to prepare meals using local ingredients, perhaps even cooking your fresh catch of the day. All three guest rooms open onto this communal space, fostering a friendly, social atmosphere while still allowing for privacy when desired. Whether you're looking to mingle or carve out a quiet nook for yourself, our common areas offer the flexibility for both. Guest access Arriving by boat, depending on the tide you will either step onto the front steps of the cabana or enjoy the sand between your toes as you take a short walk up the beach to the paved path leading to the cabana where you can stop and take in the breathtaking views from the veranda and enjoy the seamless living spaces. This eco-friendly tropical paradise is run off gird so for your comfort we run a generator from 6pm-6am for power and fans during the night. Other things to note Essential Information for Your Remote Paradise Experience Location & Access: • Our residence is only accessible by sea with your captain Edwin • Departure point: Pixvae village or Santa Catalina • 1hr boat ride from Santa Catalina $280 round trip • 20-minute boat from Pixvae $190 round trip • Your captain Edwin will point out areas of interest for your stay and you may get to see dolphins, whales and turtles enroute! What to Bring: • Sufficient food supplies for your entire stay • Drinking water for the duration of your visit • Sunscreen and insect repellent • Personal medications • Hiking shoes and rubber boots (recommended for jungle exploration) • Alcoholic beverages (e.g., beer) if desired. Bring your own or this can be pre arranged with the hosts upon booking. Parking: • Public parking available in Pixvae and Santa Catalina • Safe area, watched over by our local friends • Pixvae is a secure, small town Shopping: • IMPORTANT: You must do a complete grocery shopping for the entire duration of your stay before arrival • We strongly recommend shopping in Soná before coming to Pixvae and Santa Catalina • Soná offers markets and supermarkets (e.g., Supercentro, Cooperativa Juan 23) • Stock up on all necessary supplies, including: - Food for all meals - Snacks - Drinking water - Any desired alcoholic beverages - Personal items and toiletries • There are no grocery stores near our property, so thorough preparation is essential Please note: Our location is remote, offering an authentic nature experience.
