The space The Lakeside is a comfortable and breezy space with plenty of room to spread out and enjoy the cottage life. The bedrooms and living space are all on the upper main level of the cottage, with a large open kitchen for gathering, a side balcony for dining, and a front balcony off the dining room with rocking chairs, a gas bbq, and a spectacular and relaxing view of the lake. The water is clear, cool, and inviting. Our shore line is sandy and shallow, ideal for younger swimmers. Older kids will love the deeper water with large boulders and small fish to follow, perfect for snorkelling and treasure diving. Enjoy usage of 2 kayaks, paddle board, a pedal boat, noodles, and inflatable floating dock. Palmerston Lake is known for it's fishing. Bring your own small boat and launch it at the boat launch, only a five-minute walk away. We are also just around the corner from the Palmerston-Canonto Conservation area with access to hiking trails for all levels. The public sandy beach is a short paddle (or drive) across the bay. Nearest town is Plevna, 11 minutes away, where you will find gas, LCBO, groceries, Home Hardware, a restaurant and a cafe. Guest access You will have access to the main house, lawn, dock, and waterfront. Other things to note Water to the cottage is from the lake. Use spout on kitchen sink for drinking and cooking water.
