Very clean, well kept, 1 bedroom country cottage. Hardwood floors in bedroom and kitchen. Propane heater for winter months and AC in the summer. This a very quiet place, great for a relaxing getaway. There is a fire pit on the property, right near the cottage, for evening fires. We recommend AWD or 4WD or vehicles with snow tires during winter months. The cottage is located on a hill, can be slippery in the winter. The space This space best fits 2 people, but can accommodate 4. There is a futon in the living room, which we please ask you to put a sheet on, you will find extra bedding and pillows in the bedroom closet. We have chickens on the property, which we do provide fresh organic eggs with every stay for breakfast. Guest access Located right near the cottage is a fire pit with outdoor chairs, that is all yours during your stay. Willard ski mountain is less than 10 min away. There is a Drive-in MovieTheater less than 5 minutes (open summer only) Local tasty freeze 10 minutes away called Benson's Dairy Bar The Battenkill River is a beautiful river that is popular for fly fishing. There is a place called Battenkill Valley outdoors that offers canoe, kayak, rafts, tubes, and bicycle rentals. Other things to note We have 2 very friendly dogs, we keep them on the other side of the property when we have renters but if you do see them, they are harmless.
