The space Enjoy the peace and tranquillity of the Scottish Highlands at The Burrow — a cosy, unique tiny home with stunning mountain views, perfect for couples or families. At the front, dry stone flower beds burst with ornamental blooms and aromatic herbs. Strawberries grow in reclaimed wood planters — help yourself if the birds (or previous guests!) haven’t claimed them first. Inside, the living area is warm and welcoming. Relax on the large sofa or at the dining table by striking round windows framing the view. The sofa converts into a comfy bed, and there’s a HDTV with full Sky Stream (including SKY SPORTS, SKY ATLANTIC and SKY MOVIES) plus unrestricted access to Netflix, and Prime Video — perfect for cosy nights in. The kitchenette is well-equipped with a 2-ring ceramic hob, kettle, microwave, and complimentary staples: milk, butter, bread, cereal, pasta, rice, lentils, spices, Highland-roasted coffee, and quality teas. The sleeping area features a comfortable double bed with soft, 100% cotton linen. The shower room includes luxury, locally made toiletries from the Highland Soap Company. We’re passionate about sustainability and supporting local businesses. From reclaimed materials to locally sourced produce, everything at The Burrow is chosen with care — reducing our environmental impact while giving you a true taste of Highland life. Outside, enjoy the family garden with flower beds, trees, a patio, and children’s play equipment. Light the firepit, fire up the BBQ, or simply sip a glass of wine under the stars. Our two friendly dogs may pop by to say hello too. Located just outside Fort William — the outdoor capital of the UK — The Burrow is an ideal base for hiking, exploring nature, or simply relaxing. Sam, your host, is a qualified mountain leader and can offer guided walks by arrangement. Please note: We can accommodate a maximum of 4 guests (including infants/children) due to Scottish short-term letting licensing and insurance restrictions. Guest access Guests have access to the front garden area directly in front of The Burrow, including the patio space for relaxing or dining outdoors. Please note that the main house is strictly off-limits, as are the garden shed and lean-to, unless agreed by prior arrangement. We kindly ask that guests do not use the back garden, which is accessed via the gate near the embankment, as this is a private family area. Other things to note We have two dogs, but they have no access to the Burrow as the Garden is fully fenced. Please close the gate entering and exiting the garden as if left open they will runaway! They are friendly dogs and are also great with children as they share a house with two toddlers! If you intend on bringing your dog to stay with you on your holiday, they must be good with other dogs and children. We do not want aggressive dogs around our much loved family.
