Unwind, recharge & experience Muskoka at its best 🏡✨ The space Inside, you’ll find two bedrooms equipped with three queen beds, a cozy diner booth and a brand new 55 inch "The Frame" Art TV. This unique TV allows you to log into your Netflix, Prime, YouTube, and Crave accounts and also displays famous art collections to set the perfect mood. The cottage boasts all brand new appliances, air conditioning, a natural gas fireplace to ensure a cozy stay during the fall and winter months and a brand new cedar barrel sauna. Our 1.5 acres of property is just a 30-second walk from the boat launch, where you can easily launch your own vessels or take a refreshing dip in Lake Muskoka. Explore the trails in our backyard that lead to a serene pond overlooking the train tracks, perfect for watching sunsets. Relax in our hammock or gather around the large fire pit for memorable bonfire nights. Located within walking distance to downtown Bala, you’ll have quick access to all the local shops, amenities and activities. We are also close to The Kee To Bala concert venue, making it easy to enjoy live music and entertainment during your stay. Designed for comfort, wellness and ease in Muskoka. Guest access Guests have full, private access to the entire cabin and 1.5 acres of wooded property. Enjoy exclusive use of the cedar barrel sauna, fire pit, forest walking trails and a large pond with water fountain. Guests are welcome to explore the marked trails throughout the property, relax in the hammock and enjoy the outdoor spaces at their own pace. A two-person kayak is also available for use at the nearby public boat launch across the street on Lake Muskoka or in our pond out back. The property is completely private with no shared indoor spaces. Parking is available on-site and self check-in is provided via keypad for easy arrival. Other things to note This is a quiet, family-friendly property best suited for guests looking to relax and enjoy nature. While the cottage feels private, it is located near the train tracks and occasional trains may be heard. We have taken extra precautions using sound proof insulation and also provide ear plugs for extra light sleepers. The property is accessible year-round and winter maintained however, Muskoka weather can vary, so winter driving experience is recommended during snowy months. Outdoor amenities including the cedar barrel sauna, fire pit, forest trails and pond are to be used at guests discretion and in accordance with posted safety guidelines. Firewood is provided seasonally and life jackets are required when using the kayak. Outdoor areas and amenities are intended for registered guests only. We kindly ask that guests treat the property with care and respect, helping us maintain the high standard of cleanliness, comfort, and reliability our guests expect.
