Welcome to Lovat Haven! 🌸🌿🍄 A rustic renovated camper in the quiet forest of saltsprings awaits you. Where you can unwind, relax and reconnect with nature and yourself, while taking in all the beauty around you. The property is surrounded by gardens you can walk through, take a dip in the hottub, or enjoy an evening by the fire. Peace is waiting. 🌲✨ The space Amongst the forest 🌲 You will find tranquil gardens 🌸✨ and pathways throughout, talk a walk to see what’s blooming or relax in one of the many seating areas to take in the scenery and observe the hummingbirds and butterflies. 🦋 We have a beautiful fire pit that allows for open fire cooking, 🪵🔥 As well as a bbq on site, and a dining table amidst the garden in which you can enjoy your morning or evening meals. ☕️🌿 You are welcome to relax in our hottub 🛁 (at your own risk) - please make sure the Hottub cover is completely closed (flaps out) when not in use. You can use the jets by clicking “Jets 1 or 2”. They are on a timer and will shut off automatically. Please do not adjust the black dial inside the tub. We do NOT have AC, or running water on the property, our RV bathroom is operational on an off grid basis, with a water dispenser above the sink in both the bathroom and kitchen area. You will have to manually add water to the toilet. We have a fan available and the windows are open to allow for airflow. It does cool off pretty well at night, but just be aware - we do not have AC. We provide some basic needs such as toilet paper, paper towel, cooking essentials, and kitchen for you to use, equipped with toaster oven, hot plate, microwave, kettle, keurig and fridge. We supply a few bottles of water for dishes or handwashing but please pack accordingly for drinking water. We do not have wifi or TV’s, we encourage everyone to disconnect and reconnect with nature. ✨ We ask that you are respectful of the grounds, please stick to the designated walking paths and don’t walk in the flower beds/gardens or pick flowers/produce without permission. Fire pit: Please observe and follow fire bans and regulations at all times during your stay. Firewood is not included. Nearby, there is a convenience store and small NSLC - Johns country canteen. (5 minutes away) As well as the Whistleberry farm market and restaurant and the Green thumb garden centre and bakery, which both offer local produce, groceries and baked goods. (10 minutes) There is also go-karting nearby! If you take a 30 minute drive you can get to the beautiful Melmerby beach, as well as the cozy town of New Glasgow which is only 20 minutes away, with all your shopping and dining needs (Walmart, Canadian tire, mall, etc). Walk the historic streets of downtown New Glasgow where you can shop local and stop for a bite to eat. Guest access We are happy to have you roam around our gardens and enjoy the property, however the other buildings on site are not for guest access. Occasionally, the host may be present on the property, or people taking care of property maitenance, groundskeeping and hottub maintenance, to keep everything beautiful for your stay! Other things to note There is NO running water or shower available on site. Our RV bathroom is operational on an off grid basis. We are in the country woods, so please be prepared for bugs and other wildlife - bug spray is highly suggested. Try to keep the RV door closed when not in use to avoid an abundance of insects inside.
