Our guests can practice their Spanish, and experience community life in a small Ecuadorian village enjoying their time close in the little rural town of Cotacachi. Brand new rooms in the second floor with comfortable beds and a shared bathroom with a hot shower that were just built in 2015. Rooms are also available without beds for sleeping on bedrolls with sleeping bags for bigger groups with up to 30 people. Comfortable hammocks surrounded by a beautiful garden are available for you to relax . Guest access Guests have access to all the house: kitchen, living room with television and a PC, a Wifi-hotspot, gardens and parking lote. Other things to note As we are located at the feet of Cotacachi volcano and just 30-45 minutes away from Imbabura volcano and the Mojanda lakes we are in perfect environment for all kind of mountain experciences. Each of the mountains counts with numerous trails, which in case of Mountain Cotacachi start right at our doorstep. The range goes from easy 1-2 hour walks through the traditional mountain villages, half-day hikes through beautiful valleys and the stunning Páramo-landscapes to two-day treks up the peaks. We are the perfect basecamp for every kind of hiking and acclimatisation experience and can help you with guided tours in English language!
