The Reindeer House - King Bed

Stay in our home less the 20 minutes from Downtown Rapid City, Ellsworth AFB, and the Black Hills, 1 hour from multiple state and national parks, and 10 minutes from the airport. You’ll have access to the downstairs, featuring a shared guest living area, kitchenette, and hall bathroom, along with a private bedroom with a king bed. *Note, our home has 3 dogs, 2 cats, and a toddler. The space The house is a split level home that requires using stairs to reach both levels. The owner’s space is upstairs, while the space for guests is downstairs. Downstairs you’ll find a shared unique living area and a kitchenette with a mini fridge/freezer, microwave, Keurig, coffeemaker, and a bar-top area with 2 barstools for eating and/or getting some work done. Down the hallway you’ll find 2 private bedrooms on the left-side that lock from the inside; the first has a queen-size bed and the second has a king-size bed. In each bedroom you’ll find one of the comfiest beds in town. On the right-side of the hallway, you’ll find a shared bathroom with a shower, toilet, and sink. The bathroom includes plenty of hooks for towels, lots of towels, and extra toilet paper. The house also includes a two-car garage. The owners typically park one or both vehicles in the garage, therefore we ask that you park in the street in front of the house, and not in the driveway. If you’re needing to store a cooler, bike, etc. in the garage, please let us know and we will try to accommodate you. Guest access The guest space is on the lower level of the home and includes the shared downstairs living area, kitchenette, and hall bathroom, along with a private bedroom. During your stay Feel free to message or call us through the Airbnb App or communicate with us in person if we’re home. Other things to note We do not allow any of the animals in our guests’ bedrooms, therefore we ask that you keep your bedroom door closed throughout your stay. PETS: We do our best to keep the dogs separate from guests throughout the duration of the stay in our home, however the cats roam the house. All of our animals are very friendly, so you’re welcome to interact with them if you choose. If you are not comfortable with cats and/or dogs, we highly suggest not staying in our home as we cannot guarantee you won’t see them throughout your stay. BABY: Starting April 2025, we will have a baby in our home. Guests will have use of a sound machine and will be provided ear plugs when staying with us to help block out any possible noise. OUTSIDE DOORS: Please do not leave any outside doors open or cracked for any period of time. Our cats are indoor cats. They won’t try to go outside unless an outside door is left open or cracked. Additionally, leaving our outside doors open wastes our A/C or heat and lets in bugs/pests. WINDOWS: You are welcome to open the window in your room while you are in it, but please do not leave the window open unattended. If you leave for any period of time, we expect that you leave with our house secured. ACCOMMODATIONS: If there is something you want/need that we have not listed, please feel free to ask, but we cannot guarantee we can accommodate anything that isn’t listed or in the pictures.
