Restored, one-of-a-kind 1920's farmhouse located on a working 8 acre organic herb farm. Great location, an easy drive to Madison & EPIC. Be immersed in country peace, clear starry nights, fresh air, and gorgeous flora as you nature walk, enjoying birds, gardens & water features or hang out on front porch. The over 2000sq. ft of living area includes kitchen, dining room, living room, family room with piano, 5 bedrooms and 2 baths. Perfect for family getaway or group retreat. More information The space We have raised 5 girls on this farm who are now off on their own adventures. It is time to share this wonderful space with others. We realize that fresh air and breathing space are sometimes in short supply as we travel this world. Our aim is to not only provide a good night's rest, but respite as well. Natural surroundings are a good way to calm the soul. Our hope for all our guests (potential new friends) is that we can in some small way contribute peace to body, soul and spirit. Guest access The Home: This is our home, but we want you to feel like it is yours as well. All we ask is that you please respect our personal belongings and property and follow the rules and guidelines as stated. You will have access to our entire farmhouse including 5 bedrooms, two full baths, kitchen, dining room, living room. There is a spacious front porch and back deck which is also for your enjoyment. The laundry room is in the basement. Instructions are posted near the machines. Grounds: We have 8 acres of grounds including hayfields, herb gardens and flower beds/landscaping. You are certainly welcome to stroll the grounds and walk anywhere on the property. Buildings: You may walk through the barn and greenhouse, but we ask that you not enter any of the other out-buildings/sheds including the garage. Other things to note Firepit: There is a firepit area available for your stay. Wood and basic utensils/chairs, etc are provided for your use. You only need to spread out the coals in the pit before you leave the pit area. Fire will safely burn out without dosing with water.
