Our Rustic Country accommodations offer you quiet comfort in a rural New Brunswick setting. Drink refreshing deep well water, fall asleep to the sweet smell of cool country air to the sound of crickets, enjoy the simple pleasure of picking wild berries in season. A lovely romantic getaway or just enjoy some gold old relaxation. The guest cottage is a charming reminder of the past; hand painted, shell decorated walls are enhanced with timeless scripture verses, previously our summer kitchen. The space Built by Irish immigrants in 1841 and moved off the main house in 1981, it has served us well as a country antiques shop, later a seasonal Christmas shop; it has recently been converted to a delightfully decorated 'holiday house'! The décor is truly unique-a wonderful mélange of antique pieces; seashell decorated walls and furnishings; hand painted walls and cupboards, two great "shabby chic" bedrooms; one large country bedroom; two large sun-filled living and dining areas; wrap-around deck; full bathroom and kitchen facilities with all appliances and all linens provided. This is a Smoke-Free environment! Well behaved pets are welcome, however we do ask that dogs be kept on a leash when outside. Guest access Guest will have access to the entire cottage and wrap around deck. Antique store is located on premises. Please contact host for viewing. Other things to note For the convenience after a long day of travels or later arrivals or just a mid day snack guests can choose items from the fully stocked pantry such as; cereal, pasta, pancake mix, syrup and so much more. The refrigerator/freezer is also stocked with eggs, bread, butter, cream, and orange juice. All at no extra charge. Please note that there is a Management Fee of 15% that will be charged at the time of booking, this Management Fee is for Sales Tax that must be collected by the owner of the cottage.
