Stay at a Llama Farm

Take it easy while visiting with llamas! Welcome to our cozy house just 4 miles outside of Gunnison! Nestled in a serene high desert setting, this charming space offers a comfortable bedroom, a convenient kitchenette, and a unique opportunity to visit with friendly llamas on the property. Perfect for a peaceful getaway with easy access to town, outdoor adventures, and breathtaking desertscenery. Come relax and enjoy a one-of-a-kind stay! The space The room is private and has a private entrance, however it is attached to our house. We worked hard to soundproof the walls, but we do have 2 young kids who you could hear. We have a sweet dog, Josy, who will bark upon your arrival. She is very friendly and wants to play! She doesn't have any access to the rental space. There's a kitchenette that includes a hot plate and cooking essentials. Pot, pan, utensils, plates, bowls, and cups. There's also a mini fridge with small freezer, microwave, and toaster. Coffee and a coffee maker is supplied. We enjoy the rural setting and views for miles, as we are situated on 35 acres. We are only a 5-minute drive from downtown Gunnison, and a 10-minute drive to the hospital and Western Colorado University. It takes about 45 to drive to Crested Butte. We have 5 llamas you can feed through the fence, observe and get to know. Ask us if you'd like to spend time and learn about llamas, and we can try to find a time that works. There is plenty of parking, including room for trailers. Guest access If you are staying for over a week, we can accommodate you to do some laundry in our house. Let me know if you need that.
