The Best View Apartment is the perfect spot for those who loves great views; the most beautiful views over downtown Cusco and the entire valley of the city are reachable from any window of the apartment: the big window of the living room and the 2 windows of the bedroom. There is a rooftop terrace from where you have a 360 degree view. The apartment has high speed wi-fi, ideal for those coming for work/business reasons. Netflix-tv, heater, and a king-size bed make this place unique. The space The apartment is located in the famous colonial quarter of San Blas (the area where everybody wants to stay); is located in a quiet pedestrian street about 5-10 minutes walking from the main plaza of Cusco. Close to it -few steps- you will find several grocery stores; while in 2-3 blocks around us you have an entire selection of bakeries, coffee shop, pizzerias, restaurants and pubs. IMPORTANT: to reach our place you need to walk a flight of stairs. Its about 2 floors Guest access The apartment has a living room with a kitchen, a big bedroom with a king size bed and a roomy bathroom whose access is given from the bedroom. Then there is a fantastic rooftop terrace with sofas from where you simply dominate Cusco. In the living room there is a big table; if you travel for business, this is the perfect place to work with your laptop and documents. Sunlight fills the room thanks to 3 big windows (one of them –that gives directly to downtown Cusco- is simply huge). The kitchen is fully equipped: mini-fridge, mixer, coffee maker, microwave… and all you need to prepare your food and serve it. The bedroom has a king size bed (super-orthopaedic mattress and the pillows are memory foam quality) and a big Led-tv with nexflix; there is also a sofa, another great place from where enjoy the view over the city. Close to it there is a futon, which can be transformed in one extra bed (perfect solution for small families) with a little extra charge. Wi-fi reaches all the corners of the apartment also including the terrace. Hot water arrives to the kitchen and the bathroom that has a shower. We provide towels and toilet paper. Is also available in the bathroom a hair-dryer. In the terrace there is a set of sofas that allow to enjoy the unforgettable scenario that opens up in front of your eyes. To understand the quality of the place, we recommend looking at the photos that also show the view over downtown Cusco during the day, sunset and night ... here we can complete a few points: HEATING: it is a very important point because in Cusco the cold can be strong. The apartment has an efficient heating system that allows to have an ideal temperature. WATER: this is another very sensitive point in Cusco because the distribution of water in the city is intermittent: the property has a water storage system (and pressure control), so always has water in the apartment and with due pressure. A water-heater is responsible for heating the water, so both in the bathroom and in the kitchen there is hot water. BED: we took seriously in consideration the quality of the sleep. The mattress is a king size super-orthopaedic and the pillows are memory foam quality WI-FI: available and included in the rate CLEANING: we deliver the apartment cleaned. If you stay more days and want to have an extra cleaning of the apartment, just ask and schedule the extra cleaning with the person in charge. Extra cleaning includes the change of sheets and towels and are bookable with an extra charge. KITCHEN: the kitchen is complete with everything: 4-burner stove for cooking, microwave oven, blender, coffee maker, toaster and a set of pots and utensils that allow you to cook whatever you want. Also a small refrigerator that -as the apartment itself- is ideal for 2 people. AND... sheets and towels are part of the normal equipment of the apartment. IMPORTANT: laundry is not allowed in the apartment; we offer a laundry service (wash & dry + delivery service) at a reasonable price and plenty of laundries are in San Blas. THE COLONIAL NEIGHBORHOOD OF SAN BLAS Currently, the district of San Blas is known as the tourist area of Cusco. Compared to the historic center that borders it, San Blas is located on a hill, which offers beautiful views over the ancient Inca capital. It unfolds around a beautiful colonial church, whose famous pulpit, carved from cedar wood, is considered one of the most important works of artistic carpentry in Peru, if not the entire continent. San Blas is the artisan and artistic neighborhood where you can find exhibitions of young talents, who coexist with the great names of local fame. In the surrounding area you can find a large number of hotels and hostels, as well as restaurants, cafes and pubs, and in such density that San Blas has been able to develop its own nightlife. The neighborhood retains the warmth of the narrow, cobbled streets, the houses roofed with typical Cusco stones and its old gates, Spanish atriums and beautiful balconies.
