Perfect for family celebrations, team building away days and event stays. Easy access to Goodwood, South Coast blue flag beaches and historical Portsmouth. The space The Farm House is a Grade II listed Manor House. Spanning just shy of 5000 sq ft, the home comprises light filled living spaces and 6 spacious and comfortable bedrooms. Outside, the gardens are made up of bordered lawns, raised beds and a fenced terrace with heated pool. Catherington is close to the wonderful South Downs National park and to Petersfield, a pretty market town, along with the south coast areas of Southsea, Portsmouth and the Witterings. Winchester is also only a 40 minute, cross country, drive away. The front part of the house is Georgian and benefits from beautiful symmetry, large windows and ceiling height in each of the rooms. Two living rooms are located at the front, the one has patio windows onto the main garden and has a TV and several sofas and armchairs, the other living room is more for reading and playing games. The kitchen dining room is at the back of the house, located in the old barn, it is a gorgeous addition to the house and provides the perfect space for family gatherings and entertaining with a 10 seater dining table, sofa, stainless steel kitchen island on wheels and French doors to the back patio, where you will find the BBQ and outside sofa. The outside dining table is to the side of the house looking onto the main lawn and pool area. There is also an office, scullery utility space with washing machine and tumble dryer, and shower room on the ground floor. Upstairs is once again a beautiful light filled space with comfortable bedrooms. We have endeavoured to create a real home and a comfortable, charming and relaxing space to be in. The house has a rustic and relaxed feel to it and offers the perfect space to unwind and enjoy the surrounding area. There is a small one bedroomed cottage with separate front door to the side of the property. This is private and separate to the main house. On occasion the owners may be in the cottage. We will totally respect your privacy. Guest access Guests can use the entire house apart from the attic room at the top on the third floor above the main bedroom, which is storage for our personal items and will be locked. Other things to note The pool guy will be on hand for all pool management and cleaning. All we ask you to do is to put the pool cover on at night. The gardeners come once every 10 days for 4 hours. We will let you know when they will be coming. They mow the lawn and weed.
