Shielded and cozy summer house – in the heart of Smøla

Welcome to our charming cottage – a peaceful holiday paradise with a perfect location! Here you live quietly and shielded, but at the same time within walking distance to everything Hopen has to offer. Enjoy the proximity to the sea, nature and local experiences – ideal for both families with children and guests who like to hike. 🎣 Whether you want to explore Smøla's beautiful archipelago, fish from the rock or just enjoy lazy days in the garden, this is the place for you. We are looking forward to welcoming you! The space 🏡 About the residence The house has five bedrooms and ten beds, and is well equipped for a comfortable stay. Here you will find: - Bathroom with shower, hairdryer, hand soap, shampoo and shower gel (bring your own towels) - Private toilet with paper and hand soap - Fully equipped kitchen (bring your own cloths and tea towels) - Cozy living room with dining area - TV hook (Chromecast/DVD), toys and games - Spacious hallway with good storage space - Basement with three bicycles for adults and three for children (5–10 years) + helmets. Fishing rods and life jackets are available. Here are also the outdoor furniture and garden toys stored. 🌿 Outdoor area and activities - Large garden with south-facing plot, garden furniture and toys for both young and old - Fishing opportunities right by the house - try your luck from the rock! - Walking distance to Hopen, the municipal center of Smøla. Here you will find a football field, school with large and great outdoor area, library, shopping center, café and shops. Feel free to use the bikes in the basement to get around. - Short drive to kayak rental at Smøla kayak, as well as popular attractions such as Veiholmen, the golf course with opportunities for both football golf and frisbee golf, Smøla ice/Swing, Villsaugården, StikkUT! tours and everything else this rich island has to offer. Guest access You have access to the entire garden and the rocks by the boathouses north of the house – perfect for enjoying morning coffee or the evening sun. Other things to note 🔧 Important to know The house is partially under renovation – some walls may have paint samples or visible plaster, missing lists and have holes in the wallpaper after someone walked through the ceiling when changing floors on the floor above (😂). This should not affect the function or well-being. There is a robotic lawnmower that helps us keep the garden nice, this will be disconnected during your stay. If there is a lot of wind from the south, we would recommend taking in the garden furniture between uses, as they can quickly be taken by the wind.
