Pinch herbs for dinner. Play badminton, bocce, kubb or just relax on the spacious lawn surrounding the house. Other things to note Only weekly rentals Sunday-Sunday during school holidays (week 8, 9, Easter, week 26-33, 40,41). The house is handed over 100% cleaned on departure. The tenant leaves the house tidy and in the condition it was when they arrived. Garbage is sorted and disposed of in garbage cans outside. Cleaning can be ordered and paid separately minimum 3 weeks in advance for a fee of NOK 2500. Guests are asked to leave the house tidy and ready for cleaning. Bed linen and towels are not included. Set of bed linen and towels can be rented for NOK 200 per week per person when booking and paying minimum 3 weeks in advance. The house is a holiday home for family of five and renovated with love for natural materials and the lasting. We ask that the house and materials be treated with respect and as it was their own. It is only rented to families and housekeepers over the age of 25. Partying and smoking not allowed. Livestock maintenance only by appointment due to allergies in the family. Nearby area: A fantastic network of trails and hiking opportunities both for walkers, runners and cyclists just outside the house or just a few minutes drive away for some variety. Bus connection to Tønsberg and Hvasser. 1 km to Gamle Ormelet, with concerts and art exhibition in the summer. Tjøme sports association with outdoor football fields. Car-free shortcut through a small forest hole. 2 km to idyllic Engø Gård which can offer lunch, dinner, afternoon tea, spa, sauna, tennis and padel. 3 km to Tjøme city center, with a good selection of grocery stores (Sunday open), Vinmonopolet, dining, cafe, library, some nice shops to stop by for some holiday action. Tjøme Kolonial offers pop up restaurant and other activities in the year. Tjøme golf course with cafe Rosso is located right next door. Langvika swimming area. Frisbeegolf and large skate park. 3 km to Holme farm where you can rent paddle tennis and tennis court. 6 km to Hvasser center, with Joker, restaurant "Den Blå brygge" and "Solsiden", fishing outlet, ice cream shop, art gallery etc. The shallow Fynstranda, perfect for a picnic. Stranda Lille Skagen is also located on Hvasser. Hvasser Syd is suitable for kiting and windsurfing. 5 km to Scandic Havna Tjøme, with restaurant, a small indoor pool and rental of tennis and mini golf. Cultural events in the summer. Tjøme Yoga arranges events/drop in yoga on some occasions. 6 km to World's End, with stables, alpaca hiking, restaurant "World Ende Spiseriet"and completely distinctive natural surroundings. Færder National Park Center, Via Ferrata. Nice hiking opportunities in Moutmarka. 6 km to the restaurant "8 glasses" at Feieodden. 17 km to Tenvik pier for ferry out to the car-free island of Veierland. 20 km to the summer town of Tønsberg. Slottsfjellet. Concerts in Foynhagen. High and Low Vestfold (climbing park) and Borrehaugene are nice day trip destinations by car. Board games for the whole family and a great selection of toys and books for children. The house is well prepared for families with children. Please let us know if the need for a baby bed/travel bed, high chair. Possibility of electric car charging (cable must be brought). Spacious courtyard for car parking. Worked up lawn in front and on the south side, nature plot behind. 100 meters from the sea with some sea view in front and with fantastic forest area with trails right behind. Lush planting. Some jars of plants that will be happy with some water in case of drought during the summer season. Robot lawnmowers run on the south and west side of the house. Remember to sort waste in the correct bins, respectively: plastic (purple), paper/cardboard (blue), food waste (brown, own biodegradable bags), glass/metal (orange basket) and residual waste (whole green).
