The space Two beautifully designed villas, North and South, connected by a lush private garden, together forming one of the most distinctive group retreats on Rote Island. Dual Living and Kitchens Each villa shares a fully equipped kitchen (blender, coffee machine, oven, fridge, rice steamer, cooking basics) and its own open living space, so the group can gather together or spread out. Seamless Indoor-Outdoor Flow Sun decks, patios, and the loft offer panoramic views of swaying palms and the turquoise Rote Island coastline. Every space breathes. Retreat and Event Ready The Surf: Check the "Petrol Bombs" reef break directly from your living room. A short scooter ride reaches the legendary T-Land (Nemberala) and the powerful hollows of Bo'a. Yoga and Wellness: The expansive garden and sun terraces are made for morning asana or sunset meditation, salt air included. Celebrations: With capacity for 10 guests, private beach access, and an open-plan estate, this is the backdrop for barefoot luxury ceremonies and life's biggest moments. Guest access Arrive by plane or ferry into Rote Island, then a 60-minute car ride to Oenggaut Village. The estate is self-access and our team can meet you on arrival if preferred. Secure gated parking for cars and motorbikes. Three short unsealed roads for the final 500m, all part of the Rote charm. Getting to Rote: Fly Bali to Kupang (1.5 hrs) then Kupang to Rote (30 min, Susi Air Mon/Wed/Fri, book 90 days ahead, only 12 seats). Or take the fast ferry from Kupang (2 hrs, Bahari Express app). We recommend planning at least 10 days to do Rote justice. Other things to note Rote is Bali before the world found it. Power and wifi occasionally blink, and we are always working to improve this. Wildlife shares the garden. Water is refreshing rather than hot. Locals run on island time, but always greet you with a genuine smile. If you are the type who embraces the unexpected, craves the real Indonesia, and can find joy in a power outage under a billion stars, you are going to love it here. If you need guaranteed AC and four-bar signal, this probably is not your place. For everyone else: it will be the trip you talk about for years.
