The Moulin de La Ferté Loupière

This is a timeless rental! Alice and Lionel recently acquired an old mill, on the edge of the Ru de Bellefontaine, in the pretty little town of La Ferté-Loupière. Nestled in a garden surrounded by lush greenery, the mill is proud of its age, some five centuries! You will spend a quiet and relaxing stay, to the sound of the gentle lapping of the water, in the comfort of an old and rustic house. The space Wooden beams, small wood windows, beautiful volumes…. This old mill has the charm of the houses of yesteryear. Alice and Lionel have furnished it with modern comforts for family stays in the countryside, in a cozy nest. The house is accessed through the kitchen, a traditional living area that now has all the modern equipment. The kitchen then opens onto a large living room, both a family dining room and a comfortable living room at the foot of a wood-burning stove for cooler evenings. The room ends with an alcove, converted into a double bedroom that opens onto a balcony and offers a lovely view of the mill waterfall. Upstairs, a relaxation lounge for reading or napping opens onto a second double bedroom and a corridor leads to the third double bedroom, toilet, bathroom and laundry room. Outside, a large fish pond overlooks the garden, which slopes gently down to the mill waterfall. Numerous trees provide shaded areas to relax or play with family. Bushes and groves offer endless hiding places for wild hide-and-seek games… enough to delight young and old! Guest access You will have access to the house and garden, as well as the courtyard to park your vehicle. The mill outbuildings, on the other hand, are closed (garage, left wing and shed). Other things to note This is an old mill: water is present throughout the property. However, swimming and fishing are not allowed. Increased supervision of children is required, especially the youngest. For safety reasons, it is expressly requested that children know how to swim (in case of accidental fall).
