This location gives you the perfect combination of luxury & beach vibes. Your room is a minimalistic haven to make your own. Use it to relax & recharge after days out. With hot water to relax your body, high speed internet to keep you connected, AC to keep you cool & beautiful bamboo sheets atop a soft & fluffy queen-sized mattress to keep you comfortable you may find yourself enjoying the room a bit too much. But with the beach just across the road you need not go far for you tropical paradise. Outside of your magical room there are many other amenities to enjoy. The salt water pool is a perfect place to catch some rays or take a quick dip. Pool and beach towels are available at our reception desk and completely free of charge. Our downstairs lounge is an open and beautiful breeze way. With low lounging chairs and comfortable cushions don't be surprised if the breeze whisks you off to dream land. There are also chairs and tables available to enjoy your included breakfast or some complimentary games. Upstairs there is an expansive deck for your use. It has been used form podcasts to wedding receptions and so much more. For those interested in yoga, we do have blocks, straps and mats available at your request. Please ask reception. High speed internet is accessible around the whole property and there are plenty of beautiful and inspired places to do some work, take a call or just scroll through your feed. The room is obviously your to enjoy however you see fit - though no parties or outside guests are allowed. Within the hotel there is a lovely and cool salt water pool, a central breeze way, where your included breakfast will be enjoyed and a large functional area where most people partake in their own exercise routines. If you are interested in yoga we do have mats, blocks and straps that can be used upon request. Just speak with reception. Please also feel free to use our receptionists knowledge. Everyone who works here is local, so if you need good ideas for a day out, help with organizing a car, taxi, tour or COVID test, they will be happy to assist you. Your main point of contact, should you need help with any of the amenities or booking a tour or outing, will be our main receptionist, Nayeli. She will be happy to assist wherever she can. Dominical is all of 3 streets, so finding your way around is an absolute breeze. Besides the beach, which is absolutely magical at low tide if you are into beach walks, there are plenty of other activities to fill your days. For restaurants, there is everything from micro breweries to sushi to local fare - there is something for everyone. There is an organic grocery store that will make you feel like your in a little Whole Foods (prices are not much different) and an ice cream shop with all organic products. Our favorite cafe is One Love Cafe which is where you will be getting your included breakfast from and right on the beach, complete with reggae vibes. We might be a little biased, but we stand by our biased-ness. For kids there are surf lessons, Spanish classes, the outdoor park at the beach and the beach itself. If you are a runner, beach runs during low tide is a quick loop, and you can run up river road and back for a 3-ish km loop. All in all, Dominical is a holistic paradise with something for everyone. To get around Dominical the best way is to walk. Nothing is far and gratefully the roads are mostly paved, so barefoot is totally an option. There is also a place where you can rent bicycles in town, so let us know and we can reserve one for you for your day of arrival. There are 4 bus stops in town and while there is a bus schedule it is on Tico Time - so anticipate a 10 minute delay *at least*, sometimes it does not even come. These buses can get you anywhere you want to go, from the neighboring town of Uvita all the way back to San Jose and over to the Caribbean Coast. For any adventuring (read waterfalls, hikes, nature parks) you are most likely going to need a car. There is a rental car place in town and if you are looking for a deal please let us know and we will work to get you the best price. There is beach parking out front of the property which is free for you to use. We also have more secure parking at our other building in town if that is a preference. Due to the amazing location of the property there will definitely be a lot more people in the vicinity on the weekends. If you enjoy nature walks and going to waterfalls the best days to do these things would be Monday through Thursday. Friday and Sunday are best spent lounging around the property enjoying the beach as the other attractions are usually flooded with tourists.
