The apartment sits on a quiet dead-end street, yet it’s only a few minutes away from the center of Cotacachi—an ideal location to walk to shops, cafés, restaurants, and local markets. Otavalo is just a 0.40 USD bus ride away, and taxis are easy to catch from the main street (approximately 1.25 USD). Inside, you’ll find all the comforts you need: a fully equipped kitchen (fridge, oven, microwave, coffee maker, blender, pans, and utensils), hot water, a water purifier, washer-dryer on premises, clean linens and towels, and high-speed 500 Mbps fiber-optic internet, perfect for work or streaming. Also, we are transforming the back yard into a vegetable garden. Our garden hosts butterflies and thus, we let weeds grow for them. You will be shown the butterflies and transformation process when in season. Our flowers feed naturally hummingbirds and this helps with pollination of flowers 🌸. **PLEASE NOTE: There is a TV in the living room but not working for now, until we can get an adequate TV box to make it work as a Smart TV. ***There's lots of dogs on the trails, and they're more aggressive than the ones in town. Some residents like to take a stick with them during their hikings, while others prefer to open an umbrella to scare them away. Guest access The entire apartment is yours during your stay. You can use the laundry facility (washer-dryer) next door, or hang your clothes on the lines out the yard, take your coffee on the deck or yard, and pick your lemons when available! Other things to note Closest airport is Quito UIO airport, which is not located in Quito city, but in Tababela.
