It had sat dormant for about a year, and we are slowly bringing it back as a Guest House. The LaSalle Guest House has 4 Private Apartments, 7 Guest Rooms. The building is equipped with smart locks, where you use a door code to check yourself in, and come and go as you wish. There is not a permanent staff on property, however, Mike and his family live a few blocks away. This is the iconic LaSalle Guest House in Downtown Fort Wayne. The home was built in 1899, and moved to it's current location in 1930. This is in the heart of downtown Fort Wayne, with Starbucks a Frisbee throw away, restaurants, and activity in all directions. Guest access This is a full apartment, Living room, full Kitchen, Dining area, and Bedroom. Free parking is provided on site right behind the Sion Bass building next door at 509 West Washington. Garbage cans are located behind 517 West Washington for you to put your trash in as needed. Other things to note In the summer, there is a large festival every single weekend. Our library is magnificent, and boasts the best genealogy department East of the Mississippi River (second in the nation, behind only Salt Lake City). The Barr Street Farmers Market every Saturday morning in the summer is a must see. You can be in the middle of everything in minutes.
