Maple Lake Retreat is located on Maple Lake with 4 Bedrooms / 2.5 Bath, lake facing windows, 3 decks, sandy beach, dock, plenty of yard space and firepit, with sleeping space for 11 guests (additional guest fees apply) and a basement game room. Maple Lake is great for fishing, boating, and swimming fun. Beautiful sunrise views and amazing sunsets from the beach or rooftop deck. Located less than an hour from Minneapolis this is your quick and easy relaxing getaway destination. The space Head outside to the beach for relaxation and fun! ***There is a set of 72 stairs down to the Lake from the house; no ADA access.*** Rooftop patio above beachside boathouse with lounge chair, bench, and table seating for four, with a large patio umbrella. Enjoy the sandy beach area for lounging, building sand castles, playing games and socializing. Splash in the lake around the dock and swim out to the floating dock, about 75 feet from shore, for sunbathing or jumping into the water (15-20ft water depths). There is a water depth of 2-3' near the shoreline and dock. The lake bottom is hard and sandy around the dock area, with minimal vegetation. Vegetation does tend to grow (especially in the late summer) at the end of the dock area at 5-6' water depth, with the water depth dropping off >10', 10-15' from the end of the dock. Dock* is in water from Memorial Day through Labor Day. Dock has built-in seating bench and great for fishing or a lakeside yoga session. There are two sets of stairs off the dock for gradual water access. May 1, 2025 update: dock and boat ARE in the water. There are two kayaks—one adult and one child sized, beach/sand toys, plenty of chairs, and yard games for your enjoyment. Yard games include bean bags, yard dice, croquet set, hook & ring toss, and giant Connect 4 game. Pontoon Boat Rental Available Inquire about the rental of a 20' pontoon boat (11 person capacity, no pulling) for an additional fee. Message us for details. Please allow a minimum of 72 hours to pre-book the pontoon for usage during your stay. *Inquire about dock & boat in water if booking prior to Memorial Day or after Labor Day. Dock is out of the water during non-summer months (ie. generally October - April). Guest access House sits on a double lot with lakefront, private beach access. Guests have access to the entire house with the exception of a few locked cabinets and closets. Garage, boathouse, and outdoor sheds are also locked and unavailable for guests. Other things to note About The Lake Maple Lake is rated as one of the cleanest lakes in the area, with 10 feet of water clarity. A total of 862 acres, with its deepest point at 76 feet, and an average depth of 18 feet. Anglers can expect to catch a variety of fish, including Bluegill, Largemouth Bass, Northern Pike, and Walleye. At this property Bluegill, Crappies, Bass and Pike have been caught off the dock. Bluegill are abundant and easily caught off the dock, with bass & pike caught when casting lures or spinners from dock at key times of the day/ seasons of the year.
