Harlem is one of the largest areas in Manhattan, and is hence divided into different areas. One of which is Central Harlem. Over the last two decades the area has changed dramatically. Nowadays, what welcome you in Central Harlme are contemporary high-end buildings, brownstones, various new housing projects with older residential establishments, stores, and restaurants, all blending together harmoniously. There are also large well-maintained parks with high walkability, and a great restaurant scene. One of which is Babbaucci, a small, clean, dimly lit, intimate restaurant with the best 16-inch pizza options. The burrata salad is out of this world. The tomatoes have a nice sweetness and are topped with a well-balanced pesto. The burrata ball is creamy, decadent and served at just the right temperature. If you are going for a more vegan option, try Seasoned Vegan near the 116th and 110th st stations. The establishment has THE BEST crawfish in garlic sauce, which is sweet potato souffle as well as mac and cheese.” The shrimp po-boy with fries is also amazing.
