Secluded Retreat is your perfect mountain escape! We are an owner-managed vacation destination located in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina. The natural beauty of this area includes abundant wildlife, wildflowers, amazing long-range views, picturesque farms & breathtaking starry nights. Secluded Retreat is located just 3 minutes from the historic & beautiful New River, and less than 15 minutes from Downtown West Jefferson, as well as the Blue Ridge Parkway. Our home easily accommodates a large family or group of friends, offering plenty of room to relax and unwind. Inside you will find spacious living areas with comfortable and cozy furnishings, a large great room with a farmhouse dining table that opens onto the well-equipped gourmet kitchen. Our 4 guest rooms offer comfortable beds and warm and inviting touches. The downstairs sitting room provides a cozy place to unwind at the end of the day, complete with plenty of sitting room, a large flatscreen TV with streaming content via Chromecast, piano and games and cards, and even some special surprises for the kids. The westward facing back deck is the perfect place to catch one of our spectacular sunsets and take in the long-range views of Mount Jefferson and surrounding peaks. End your day in one of our rocking adirondack chairs in front of the outdoor fireplace, under a canopy of stars while listening to the song of the owls. Secluded Retreat provides everything you need for your home away from home. Gas grill, outdoor chimnea with sunset views, a relaxing hammock along the treeline and even an large outdoor play set for the kids! We will be available prior to and during your stay. Should any issues arise, we will be your point of contact to have it taken care of quickly and efficiently so you can focus on your vacation! Round Knob is a beautiful and quiet piece of the Ashe County, located along the historic New River and less than 15 minutes from downtown West Jefferson. Secluded Retreat is a non-smoking home. Pets (max 2 dogs) are welcome with an additional pet fee of $50 added after your reservation is confirmed.
