Our house perfectly suits one or two couples, a family, or friends traveling together. There are two stylish main bedrooms & bathrooms, & several lovely living areas indoors and out - you'll have space, flexibility, quality furnishings, comfort & complete PRIVACY. Ducted heating warms every room – this is a big bonus in Tasmania! AND we are near to North Hobart's coffee shops & restaurants, & a short drive to the CBD & Waterfront. Please check out our reviews. You'll LOVE it here too! The space The house is designed with pleasure and comfort in mind. It's fully insulated with temperature controlled ducted heating in all rooms, so you will be comfortable and cosy all year round. All rooms have garden views with a leafy indoor/outdoor feel at all times. The modern kitchen features a dishwasher, induction cooktop, ducted VZug convection & steam combination oven and a Nespresso capsule coffee machine with milk steamer. This beautiful open plan living/dining/kitchen space has a large dining table (seats 6), a small sitting area with TV, and leafy garden views. There is also a light-filled formal lounge room at the front of the house with a 75” Smart TV and Netflix. Tea, coffee, condiments, spreads and pantry basics are provided for your stay, as are bathroom essentials. The main bedroom has a king sized bed and direct access through French doors to a leafy patio and outdoor dining area that seats six. The second, equally attractive bedroom has a queen bed and access to a spacious sunroom, which can be used as a sitting room, an office space, or a playroom. The third bedroom will be set up to suit the guests’ requirements. It can have one single bed, or two single beds (the second single is a roll out bed but with legs) or a single bed and a cot. (Please note: guests intending to use this children’s room should specify which bedding combination they will require). It has access through more French doors to the second patio which has a gas BBQ and heater, where you can comfortably dine outside. There are two bathrooms, both with underfloor heating, one with a walk-in shower and the other with a shower over a large bath. The fully equipped laundry includes a second toilet. It's a very private house and garden, with furnished outdoor relaxation areas to enjoy: patios, shady nooks, a deck in the back garden and even an old fashioned porch for two to sit on and enjoy the view. The large back garden with patches of sun and shade at any time has a spacious lawn safe for children to play while the parents supervise from the deck - perhaps with a G&T? One last thing. It's a living garden and it gives its bounty back to us all through the year. There is beautiful birdsong all year round, and In season, there are amazing flowers - especially a number of mature camellia trees. Magnolias, Hellibores, Nasturtiums, Irises and other flowers make the garden special. There are also a number of fruit trees and vines: hugely prolific blackberries until mid April, an olive tree, a huge walnut tree (if the naughty Sulphur Crested Cockatoos leave any for humans), lemon trees, and more. Please help yourself from our organic garden during your stay.
