Between Edam and Volendam at the Markermeer, you will find our beautiful, sustainable Dutch "Stolp" farmhouse. Inside, there is a brand new 1-bedroom apartment (33m2) with a view of the dike, sluice, and our own meadows with cows, sheep, and wild birds. The space Enjoy this modern, ground-level space with its own parking spot and private entrance. Make use of your own bathroom, complete kitchen, dining area, flat screen TV with Netflix, internet, and terrace. The ideal place for those seeking peace and as a starting point to walk, cycle, and explore the area. Included are made beds, towels, toiletries, coffee & tea and final cleaning. You can store and charge your bike in our shed. Within a short walking distance, you'll find a restaurant and a supermarket. Other things to note Walk to "the Dike" in Volendam with its many restaurants, visit the cozy Edam with its cheese market in the summer, take a boat to the island of Marken, or the bus to Amsterdam. Visit a cheese farm, a windmill, a museum, or spend a day at the beach. There is so much to see and do in the nearby area. Behind the dike there is also a swimming beach to cool off on hot days.
