A beautiful refurnished 17th century house with modern comfort and the best location in the center of Oaxaca city, stylishly decorated with a great atmosphere. A few steps from the greatest cultural attractions such as the Ex Convent of Santo Domingo de Guzmán, the Ethnobotanical Garden, museums, galleries, several top-notch restaurants, mezcalerias, coffe shops, markets and all the touristic attractions. The space On the ground floor you can enjoy the old part of the house, decorated with pieces of art exhibited on its walls with finish of nopal slime and earth (a technique used in historical buildings). You will get to relax in its comfortable living room and its cozy spaces such as the reading nook. It includes a fully equipped kitchen provided to experience the best traditional food on the magnificient piece of art that is the dining table. On the middle and upper floors you can find the remodeled area consisting of two bedrooms with full bathrooms and air conditioning. Both are decorated with old handmade mosaics rescued and designed by the plastic artist Francisco Toledo. Enjoy the view of our beautiful Oaxaca from our terrace, where you can appreciate the characteristically joyous sounds of our city. Please note that due to the amazing central location, the area is very busy and therefore street noise is inevitable. Please take this into consideration before you book.
